not sure but its not a very good brand of make-up for me personallyDoes Natural Collection Shine Away Foundation give you spots............?
heyy when i was about 11/12 i started to use that foundation as a first foundation because it was cheap. it did give me a couple of spots but i have oily skin so it might be dofferent on your skin. i am giving u some advice save your money and get maybelines satin liquid foundation lots of my friendsuse it and it looks really nir skin nice, or you could try dream matte mousse. and try them on before u get them u dont want it to dark or to light. oh and by the way the natural colections colours are very wierd and are extremely dark so if u have light skin steer away from it. my friend has dry skin and sues the tineted mouisturiser and its good she doesn tget any spots (:

  • Shaving Spots down there? ?

I always get so many! how can I avoid them?Shaving Spots down there? ?
Well razor bumps can be avoided by not shaving the hair, you can opt for trimming the hair. Or if you must eliminate those hair you can go with hair removal products in the form of lotion, I use Nair's hair removal lotion and it doesn't cause razor bumps. If you insist on shaving, I once read in a magazine that you should make sure that the area you're shaving is clean and cleanse it all over afterwards so that nothing will go in your opened pores.Shaving Spots down there? ?
i know it sounds crazy but if you use mens shving cream and after shave. you will not have any razor bumps.

    make shure to by unscented
If you don't mind a guys opinion, this is what I know.

Hair doesn't grow straight out.It grows on an angle.

Shave with the grain, not against.I don't get bumps (on my face) anymore.

    Ticklish spots?

    what are yours?Ticklish spots?
    My feetTicklish spots?
    With a human anatomy answer.

Sensation is recieved by the primary somatosensory cortex in the parietal lobe of the brain.

The areas which take up the most amount of space on this cortex ar the most sensitive to touch/heat.

These areas on the body are the lips, tongue, fingers, and genitals.

Therefore these places should be the most sensitive.

However most people either have ticklish armpits, sides and feet.

This is because the skin there is less exposed, so it doesnt get as thick or tough. So it is more easily able to sense touch.
Oh gosh, ALL OVER! I'll at least giggle no matter where you tickle. I love it.

I use face masks and pore strings. But the main thing i do which is the most important is i use witch hazel on my spots when i first notice the red bump. if i squeeze it i put witch hazel on it to stop infection.

    Leopard spots on long hair?

I have long shaggy black hair. Is there any way to bleach leopard spots into a section of my hair? Or should I just buy an extension and put the spots on that?

What do you think about a pink extension with black and lavender leopard spots?

    This is my hair:

    http://i29.tinypic.com/mtqrh5.jpgLeopard spots on long hair?
no idea how you would do it but i think you would look amazing with leopard spots in your hair! it would totally suit you, wouldnt go for the pink ones thoLeopard spots on long hair?
Its going to be really hard to Leopard print on your hair. And most likely its not going to come out like you would like. The best way would probably get extensions and do it that way. Sally's beauty supply has cheap extensions. Also, pink extensions with back would look amazing, but the lavender probably won't show up that well. Also, I would not recommend getting human hair just in case you mess up, you wont be messing up $90 hair.
a friend of mine had her hair like that, it was wicked i loved it. the only way that she could do it was in the hair shop.

I don't know if you could do it any other way but the hair shop is your best option because you might make a mistake.

YOU ARE GOING TO LOOK FANTASTIC, GO GIRL.
Extensions are easier and often look better.

    Dark Spots - HELP!!!!!?

I am dark-skinned and need to get rid of dark acne spots on my face. Anyone have a tried and true method?Dark Spots - HELP!!!!!?
Try Mederma. It's for scars. Could work.Dark Spots - HELP!!!!!?
Use Clinque Post-acne treatment. It really helps. But for the most part...only time will fade the darkspots. Make sure that when you go out in the day time....use sunscreen on your face. Dark spots develop because the sun darkens the pimple scars.
Obagi products, you can find them online, a dermathologist office, a plastic surgeon's office. But you see the results after a month.

Trust me,it works Big time expecially on scars, pimples and sun damage.
there are skin lightening creams out there, but i don't remember what they are called. I think Loreal makes one, even for dark complected women. Best of luck.
Is it just the spots or the ';spots and acne';? If it's just the spots, here are some things you can do to speed up baby new skin to the skin surface:-

    1) Buy and use an at-home skin dermbrasion kit to to help you exfoliate your skin (especially those areas with the spots).

    2) Use a licorice-based skin whitener (SK 2 is the BMW product that has licorice they call ';Pitera'; I think!). You may wanna check out http://www.godivaskincare.com or google for one.

    3) Emu oil or evening primrose oil ';softens'; the spots so they may fade or ';peel off'; gradually without hurting new skin.
ambi fade cream. it will fade the dark spots and give u an even skin tone
    Buy Proactiv Solution
I struggled with acne for years and I finally found the solution that works for me. We have been fooled, tricked, deceived, and just plain lied to. It's time that someone put a stop to it, and everyone learn the truth!

Those of us who suffer from acne have usually been given 2 choices and neither of them work:

    1. Over the counter remedies such as cleansers, creams, ointments, etc. These things have been proven over and over again not to work. Why? It does not address the root cause of the problem.

    2. Go see a doctor and or dermatologist. They will generally prescribe prescription drugs which include topicals and or antibiotics. This, too, has been proven over and over again not to work. Why? It does not address the root cause of the problem.

I found a step-by-step program that cured my acne and it has never come back. It is amazing and doesn鈥檛 use any drugs or doctors. The truth is that acne can be cured鈥f we know the secret the doctors and drug companies don鈥檛 want us to know.

There is a great website: http://cure-my-acne.info/3daycure/ that has all the details. I really suggest you check it out and see if it works as well for you as it did for me.
I had dark spots and the only thing that worked was black soap and Shea butter soap and lotion. Take it from me it definitely works if u live in New york City u can buy them on the street in Harlem. If not u can respond back to me! i'll help you
My advice as an estetician to stay out of the sun and wear sunscreen daily.Peels and brightening agents can be effective in reducing some of these hyperpigmented areas.the best ingredients what u should look for in the creams are: hydroquinone(at least 2%) ,kojic acid, mulberry, licorice root, bearberry, azaleic acid.If a product says that is a skin whitener and it doesn't have at least one of these ingredients, its not gonna work,it doesn't worth the money. The dermatologist can prescribe a very high % of hydroquinone product, that's the best , I saw the results very in very little time and I was amazed.

  • Sun spots?

So after the summer I am beginning to notice a slight sun spot on my nose. It is still very slight but when I look it looks like I got dirt on my nose. You know everyone sees it right? So does anyone know any good ways to reduce or diminish sun spots? Hope you can helpSun spots?
olay definity greatly diminishes the look of sun spots after a few weeks. it is kind of pricey, but if you just use it on that one spot it will definetly last for a longg time. if you want a cheaper method, lemon juice lightens sun spots gradually so you could try slicing a piece of lemon and rubbing the juice on the spot a couple times a day. if you need an immediate fix, pick up some concealer in your skintone. hope i helped!Sun spots?
A lightening cream would work, but they take a long time. The quickest way is to have it treated with IPL (Intense Pulsed Light) therapy (I use the Palomar StarLux system). Usually one or two hits with the laser should bring the pigment up to the surface of your skin and it will get darker. After a week or so you can rub it off in the shower with a washcloth.

While it's in the darker stage I'd recommend covering it up with a concealer.
apply a good skin lightening cream

    wear sunscreen at daytime.
Get it checked for cancer. Skin cancer rates in this country have doubled in less than 20 years. From 2 per 100 to 4-5 per 100. Skin cancer often starts off as a hyperpigmented area. So, go get it checked to be sure it's just a sunspot before you put anything on it.

    Red Spots On Scalp?

I only noticed these when I cut my hair really short, they arn't big just little spotsRed Spots On Scalp?
Here are 2 things you may have:

    1. You may have begun to have liver spots

    or:

    2. You probably scratched it and those are the scars like if you had lice or dandruff.Red Spots On Scalp?
Did you get your hair washed at the barber/salon? Because the stuff the stylist washed your hair with could definetly made your scalp react. This also could be a reaction to maybe a cologne, hair product, or body wash you maybe just started using.

    Black spots?

i have scars left over from my wild childhood, i was wondering what fade cream i can use to prevent my legs looking like military fatigue. please help!Black spots?
go see an esthetician, when it comes to skin lightners because i have seen some chicks who went and got store brand products and came out looking messed up. go see a esthetician so you wont mess your skin upBlack spots?
Okay!! You would need Garnier light to get rid or that problem. It makes the skin fairer, reduces black spots, acts and like sunscreen block. Ask if available in ur place.
girl you need a good skin lightening lotion to fade away the dark skin scars and exfoliate to resurface a lighter skin tone.. or you can use a more concentrated whitening cream to target those spots.. here's a good source for safe and effective skin lighteners -

helf fun and do your best ok.
I don't know where you live...but could they be mosquito bits? I don't think pimples itch, at least mine never have. I would try to put something soothing over the areas. You may want to try witch hazel. Witch Hazel is a mild cleansing astringent. I would follow up with some acne cream or cortisone. Stating the obvious here, but don't pick or scratch at them, it will make it worse. I would go see a dr. if they don't go away b/c it could also be a rash. Good Luck.
If they are dry, patchy and itchy I would guess it is eczema. But I would suggest seeing a Dermatologist.
I would advise you not to put anything harsh on your face, you should definately see a doctor. They could be a simple allegery or something much worse. Until you can see a doctor use a mild cleaser and moisturizer like Cetaphil.

Red Spots All Over MY FACE?!?

they're not pimples....they look like what you see when you scrape off a scab..how do i get rid of them??Red Spots All Over MY FACE?!?

    ask your dermatoligist

Put some aloe vera gel on your face which will soothe your skin.

Don't touch it or pick at the spots, leave it..

They should be gone in a while cos aloe vera works wonders!!

My question: Is it a sunburn?

either way i believe you should consult with your doctor first before you do anything else.

Those are age spots. If you don't do something now, the spots increase and will go darker because the skin is constantly producing melanin which makes the dark pigments on our skin . You can counter the production of melanin using papaya kojic and licorice base soap and cream which are available online. These work wonders.

Maybe it will work on you too.

    Skin spots?

okay i have light pink marks on my face and want to be tan i called a esthtician and they said to do many peels to get rid of the pink marks and not to tan it may make them darker but theres a downside to both:

    Any Spots Advice ?

Whats Best for thr Spots ?

im 13 ive had them For quite a long time ,

whats best way of getting rid of them ?

and Whats best for Them ? does anyone know causes them ? they arent to nicest things to Appear On your face , (:Any Spots Advice ?
Its probably a good idea to regularly wash with anti-bacterial soap as i do, i find this keeps spots at bay. Also if you want a special cream or gel to use i found that the best one is Freederm Gel, it is both affordable and effective. But bare in mind that with time alone your spots should disappear.

hope this helps,Any Spots Advice ?
face washes always irritated my skin, i just wash my face with water, and im lucky enough to get the occasional spot.

try things like freederm and anti bacterial washes.

my brother had really bad acne, he tried all the face washes but they didnt help much at all.

my mum took him to the doctors and he was put on some tablets that cleared them up a bit, now i think hes using a special medicated face wash that has really helped.

the doctor would start you off on a low dose of tablets, and if they dont help they will up the dose and then move on to other options.

and if they dont help, the doctor can refer you to a dermatologist.
everyday wash your face with fresh water thoroughly, and scrub dry with a towel. tbh all these gel things you rub in certainly clear the skin but i dont find them to get rid of spots.

a refreshing wash when you wake and when yuo go to bed is enough. and don't worry, at that age spots can all be part of hormones and can be a pain. they will clear up eventually
Avon has a couple of really good products for fading spots on your face. Are the spots dark spots or acne spots from old acne? It sounds like it is just dark spots, if so I suggest one of these. Solutions Banishing Cream or Anew Alternative Photo Radiance Treatment.

Talk to your mom %26amp; have her look at these with you. See if she thinks these will work for you %26amp; maybe she will get it for you. You can look at it %26amp; read reviews at this site.

I know you might not beleive this, but seriously POUR OIL/ GREASE onto them!!! What happens, is the oil is soaked up and the spots get bigger and then die! it works perfectly! I promise...used to be acne prone...no longer!!!

    lylas.
Drink lots of water and eat a healthy diet. Wash your face as much as you can, but don't use products or moisturiser, it will only make it worse. Just water and a clean towel should do it.
Get an exfoliating face wash and use it everyday it gets right in the pores and gets all the crap out. If they do not disappear go to your doctor they can give you a special cream to treat spots!

    Hope I helped

If they are white spots, there is this medicine stuff that really works. You could get it at hispanic markets. Its called achote. You put it in water and let it sit for a few hours then take out the rocks with a colinder. Then you drink it. It'll taste horrible but trust me it works. Also drink lots of orange juice because the vitamin C will help. Theres also this medicine that you can buy, but the only problem is that its all the way in central america. Theres also this vaccine that you can get in Cuba that might help. Ive never got that, but i've tried the achote and the medince from central america, and I always drink a lot of orange juice. Hope your spots go away. I had that problem before and I used this and it really worked.
There is no immediate fix for acne .. I don't care how good of a product it is, it takes time and diligent use of the product for it to work. Give it a month.
Apply Toothpaste to your skin before you go to sleep. I know it sounds odd but it dries up your skin and will clear up those spots! Be careful though,it may sting your eyes a little!
if your a baby deer then your white spots will go away when you get older

    Herpes...
Try going to the salon. They're really good at it!
    mederma
This is called the honey mask:

You will need PURE honey as it will dehydrate your skin and clear your blemishes and about half of a banana; the banana will moisturize your skin. Mix both together in a small bowl and put it on your face for 10 minutes, make sure you get it everywhere on your face especially the areas where you have the blemishes/acne.

After 10 minutes, rinse it off with a gentle cleanser (I recommend cetaphil or st. ives apricot cleanser because it washes away the dirt and oil on your face and cleans your face); also while you are rinsing your face, use luke warm water and then cold water to open and close your open to prevent acne.

After that, take some clean and clear persa gel 10 (works awesome!) and put that on before going to bed, next morning, rinse off and I swear your skin will feel sooo smooth and soft, also it will feel much more fresher and it will look radiant and clear your acne!

Also dont touch your skin because your hands contain natural oils on it which causes acne and oily skin, so avoid touching it!

And wash your face twice a day, morning and night

Also after you exercise, wash your face because the excess sweat can often make you breakout

EDIT: another tip, do not use toner with achocol in it, it will make you breakout even more.
Just Try to leave it alone because the more you do the worse it gets. You should try going to the doctors office and ask for some cream.

    Good luck!
Use some TCP solution, it really dries out the spot in just a few hours. Use some foundation, if at all possible, to cover some of the redness. If you get constant and regular acne, visit your doctor and see if they will give you some tablets which will stop your pores producing too much oil, stopping blockages which cause blackheads and 'zits'.
try using a product called stridex. i started using them about two weeks ago, and my skin is way clearer with no red spots. i'd probably recommend the ones in the green packaging though they are easier on your skin. http://www.stridex.com/ good luck!
wash with good mild soap like Camey and use those deep cleaning pads and apply a good astringent. About all you can do.
When I have this problem, I put vitamin e oil on the spots over night. You can buy vitamin e capsules at any store and squeeze the capsule onto your skin, or you can actually buy a little bottle of vitamin e oil at a beauty supply store. Simply rub it in to your face, tie your hair back so it doesn't get stuck to your face, and go to bed! I used to be scared because I thought it would clog my pores--but it actually helps to clear things up! Vitamin e is one of the most common and effective solutions to put on scabs and scars to help minimize scarring, and is very good for your skin. Just don't put it on during the daytime, as you WILL look oily!

MORE SPOTS THAN WHEN i STARTED!!?

i had a few spots,, soo i went and bought some oil free spot wash,, and its made me have more spots.

it said that it tackles the 3 majour causes of spots.

but ive just got even more spots!! %26gt;=[

why??!!!MORE SPOTS THAN WHEN i STARTED!!?
Skin produces more oil when it is striped of its natual barrier, using a cleanser that is too drying can cause more trouble. Cleanse the area at night followed by a toner and in the morning use water and a toner and follow with an oil free moisturiser. It need not be expensive. Also check your haircare products and make sure you rinses off your face and body.MORE SPOTS THAN WHEN i STARTED!!?
That sucksss. It could just be hormonal, or you could have bought some crappy spot wash.

Invest in something stronger, it'll be worth it. Try not to touch your face and keep up to fluids!!!

    Concealing spots?

i have sudocrem on my spots which works for me, but my spots won't be gone by tonight. can somebody either give me a step by step guide to concealing spots, or give me a link to a video or website please. thanks..Concealing spots?
What I usually do is put it on the spots and blend it. Make sure your concealer matches you skin tone. I went and purchased L'Oreal True Match Concealer and it works like magic! First you decide if you are a Cool, Neutral, or Warm. Warm's look better in gold, Neutrals look good in both, and Cools look better in Silver. Then you determine if you are Fair/Light, Light/Medium, or Medium/Deep. I am a Warm and I purchased it in Medium/Deep cause I have a medium/dark skin tone.

    Hope I helped! =]Concealing spots?

this morning i woke up with a huge boil/ spot thing on my chin.its sooooo disgusting i dont even want to go into school monday because of it. its quite hard round, dome like, really sour and red and its really quite big like 1 cm long. its just really red and like a lump. how the hell do i get rid of it.? and does anyone know what it is?Help! i have a giant boil/spot on my face how do i get rid of it?
Use moisture and heat to get rid of boils. Soaking the boil, if it's in a soakable place on your body, in warm water will help to relieve pain and draw the boil out. Also, a warm, damp compact applied to the skin for 20-30 minutes, 3-4 times a day can also draw the boil out. Once the boil drains, either wash it with antibacterial soap, or apply iodine to ensure that no bacteria can enter the fresh wound and cause further infection of the boil.

    Teenage spots..?

I'm 14 and I get bad spots around my chin %26amp; T-zone, and sometimes at the side of my cheeks. Are there any really good brands of cleansing wipes and face washes etc. that help for that kind of thing. I have tried out quite alot and it doesn't help much. (:Teenage spots..?
Nivea visage is good, so's T-Zone, and cliniques good :)

To get rid of like spots fast try clean and clear.

Just try see what works best for you!

Talk to your doctor-everyone has different skin types. What might work great for some people could worsen the condition for others.
The occasional pimple or two needs no treatment. over- the-counter cover-up creams and cosmetics, if used at all, should be water based and hypoallergenic. Even if outbreaks of acne cannot be eliminated, conventional and alternative treatment can provide relief. conventionals medicene favors drug therapies that inhibit sebun and keratin production, limit bacterial growthm or encourage shedding of skin cells to unclog pores. Because many therapies can have potent side effects, any patient with a skin problem should proceed with caution when trying a new treatment. People with severe, persistent cases need the care of a dermatologist.

    Conventional Medicene:

To treat mild acne, your doctor may recommend a topical over the counter medication containing benzoyl peroxide or prescribe the antiacne drug tretinoin, a vitamin A derivaive.

For moderate to sever cases a mainstay of treatment is tetracycline, an antibiotic that is usually taken orally, sometimes in combination with topically applied tretinoin. other useful anibiotics are oral erythromycin and clindamycin.

For chronically inflamed cysts a doctor may prescribe the drug isotretion, but beacause of its potentially severe side effects the treatment must be monitored carefully especially in women of childbearing age.

    NUTRITION AND DIET:

most doctors now believe that acne is not a food related problem and rarely ask patients to change their diets as a means of reducing outbreaks. Some alternative therapists however, make a change in diet as the basis of treatment. while experts both camps conced that chocolate, fats and other suspect foods dont cause acne, debate continues over whether they can aggravate the condition

    At- Home remedies:

washing your face with unsented, oilfree soap- or even a medicated soap- helps keep your skin clea, but scrubbing already inflamed skin only makes acne worse.

resist the urge to pop pimples. let them break when they are ready then wash it gentally.

for mild to moderate acne, try over the counter treatments that contain benzoyl peroxide

expose your acne to sunlight in moderation, but be careful to avoid over exposure.

men with moderate to severe acne should use a new razor blade every time they shave to lower the risk of infection. instead of alcohol based aftershves, try herbal alternatives that include essention oils of lavender, chamomile or tea tre.

    basics of preventing acne:

daily bath or shower, and washing face and hand with unscented or mildly antibacterial soap.

Thankss: Abbie xAGHH! SPOTS; they just WONT go!?
if you really want to get rid of them then don't complain and drink water, also if the spots keep appearing on your face then maybe you should switch concealers it may be what is causing the problems. if it doesn't go away go see a dermatologist. it is most likely due to sun exposure.AGHH! SPOTS; they just WONT go!?
    Abbie

I`m afraid it`s all part of growing old honey. I remember when i was a teenager %26amp; suffered the same, the advice i had then was too eat a good diet of fresh fruit %26amp; veg, drink plenty, water if you can but suger free squash is ok,dont smoke %26amp; avoid alcohol. Also get a good nights sleep. Did i listen? Did i hell so i too had zits. I`m 50 now %26amp; my skin is perfect. So you`ll just have to wait, but enjoy the years !!!
i know i am a teenager too! i hate it when people keep saying drink water and use all this stupid stuff beacuse it just does not work ! i get the odd spot every day and my secrut to keep them down is

    # always wash make-up off before you go to bed and the morning.

    # eat healthy

    # try and dink lots

    # keep your face clean and grease free

    # when the spots are really bad wear make-up

    # don't pick 'em

    # i say squeeeze those white heads as when i do it make them go quicker

    # try and not worry about it too much

    # and drinking apple juice is bad as it is full of acid this will bring you up in spots

    # do not eat junk, foods which are full of grease and acids same with drink.

    # live life to the full .

    # carry on

e-mail me if you have any more probs , cherrio . tutyfruity ...x
get a good cleanser... one with salicylic acid... works great!!!
I used to have this problem.

Before you begin, defrost one package of frozen strawberries.

    1. In a mixing bowl, add 2 cups of flour.

    2. Crack one egg. Beat thoroughly.

    3. Add the strawberies, and 1/4 cup of ketchup.

    4. Next, pour in one can of chicken broth. Then fill the empty can with water and add that too.

    5. Add a pinch of salt and blend well.

    6. Massage one handful at a time onto your spots. Repeat as needed. Good luck!
u should use something to control the spots. Start using neutrogena or clearasil to dry up the spots
Water water water! Get it drunk! I used to hate water too, but you eventually get used to it. As a teenager, you may grow out of your spots. Until then, invest in some Benzoyle Peroxide cream (I use oxy on the spot, its fantastic and you can get it at a chemist.) Don't use any higher concentration than 2.5% else you may find your skin gets irritated.

Each time you wash your face, morning and night, dab dry with a clean towel and then when your face is dry, apply the BP cream onto affected areas. Use a small amount to start with as your skin will have to get used to the cream. Gradually work your way up to a full finger full of cream over the following weeks. You have to be disciplined and do this every day to clear up. Go to acne.org to see this method in full and read the success stories!

I used it and now I am totally clear of spots!

    xx
    Ah!
first of all try not to wear concealer every day cos that would make them worse. second of all you could try clean and clear cleansing wipes, they work for me. third of all you need to drink plenty of water just put some blackcurrant or orange squash to it. try not to stress about it either all teenagers get them and if anyone takes the mick bout it just tell them politley to beep off. lol, you could also go to ur local chemist and ask thier advice but dont let them get you down
Abbie try dermalogica, dermal clay as a face wash then multi active toner and then active moist oil free moisturiser. It is expensive but brillinat. Get as much fresh air and water as possible and try not to wear make up as much as possible. I would never recommend sun beds but natural sun light helps( wear oil free sun screen) Try to relax as much as possible, as this really helps. Use a good face mask a few days before your period is due and good luck. Diet is key, it really helps.
Go to lour local beauty salon and have a facial every 28 days

Buy a decent cleanser, toner, exfloliator, face mask %26amp; moisturiser. I recommend dermalogica.

Exfoliate your face no more than twice a week

put on a face mask once a week. (at first u may find this brings out more spots but this is becuase its getting rid of all the dirt out of your pores) but if u do this regularly it means u wont have any dirt in your pores so your skin will stay clear.

Another thing is to goto selfridges in the beauty section they have a spot reducing cream %26amp; over night u will see that they really have reduced. u can ask for a sample so u can try it yourself before u buy it.
Drink more water, and don't use conceler ever day.

Buy some spot cream of some sort.

    Other good methods are:

    Tea tree Oil and Sudocream
Ok, firstly dont wear concealer at all until all your spots heal up. It clogs pores and actually gives you spots! Get into a skin regime, exfoliate your skin gently, and use a toner daily. Something like Clearasil is good. If you don't like the tast of water try flavoured water or squash, its mostly water. Also, make sure you get enough sleep and are eating helathily and a balanced diet. Hope this helps xxxx
Pimples usually start when the increase in hormones running through your body causes your skin to produce more oil than when you were a kid.

As a start, you should use ';noncomedogenic'; (won't clog pores or cause blackheads) or ';nonacnegenic'; (won't cause pimples) cosmetics and suntan lotions.

Exercising regularly can also help reduce stress and it increases blood circulation and oxygen penetration to the skin, which may help with spots prevention.

Avoid hot, humid environments such as poorly ventilated kitchens, gyms, or tropical climates and stay away as much as possible from cooking grease or machine oil that can contribute to blackheads and clogged pores.

Sweat combines with skin oils to trap dirt and bacteria in your pores, causing blackheads and pimples, so it's important to shower as soon as possible after you work out or sweat profusely.

Clean cosmetic brushes regularly in soapy water and throw out old, contaminated makeup.

Cucumber is being used for skin care all over the world. Either sliced or grated, when applied over the affected areas for fifteen to twenty minutes it has good results. Its regular use removes pimples and blackheads. Cucmber products are also available in the market as Cucumber creams and Cucumber lotions.

Mint juice can also be used in a similar manner for treating pimples or blackheads. Mint herb may be grinded to form a mask which is than applied for twenty minutes.

It is a very cheap cooking ingredient that most people have in their kitchens. This can be used as a great scrub to exfoliate the skin, thus removing dead skin that can eventually clog pores.

  • Blackheads / spots?

My teenage son (17) has a face full of blackheads and angry looking spots and he insists on squeezing them! He's tried facial washes and ive been told to try Oxy 5 which I am going to buy later.....has anyone got any advice on how to help him shift the blackheads...hes such a good looking lad, its a shame !Blackheads / spots?
I've had trouble with blackheads, if you can..first get him a facial they will remove a ton of blackheads.

If not, or after..get Biore warming blackhead wash. It heats up and really helps fight the blackheads.

Also get the biore pore strips, they instantly will remove the blackheads just follow directions.

Also, you may want to try sea breeze astrigent it has a special kind just for blackheadsBlackheads / spots?
the only reason he has black heads is because he isn't washing his face enough! make sure he washes his face EVERY DAY! and has a shower every other or every day.

(i use oxy and it works really well!)

    Hope I Helped;)
Dermalogica! They will give you a free 'face mapping' consultation so I would go ahead and try it, they should give samples to try after too. It's well worth the money (bit pricey). Just go on their website to find the nearest one near you..

Worked for me and I'm sure it will work for him x
use proactive. Dont use any oily products on his face. Black head is like oil buildup. Also, keep his hands off his face, if he sqeezes them it will come back.

    My spots hurt?

have 3 spots right on the edge of my face near my hair, and they really hurt! i use like a scrub every night but nothing! what do you recomend? My spots hurt?
You shouldn't use a scrub every night. You're doing it too often. No more than 2-3x a night.

You can dab your spots with a product that has salicylic acid in it...or a benzoyl peroxide. You can even dab them with hydrogen peroxide which is really inexpensive.

If they still hurt, get a washrag, and put it under very warm water, ring it out, then place it on your spots. This may help bring a bit of comfort.

    Hot spots?

How can you get rid of hotspots under your arm/side?Hot spots?
I don't know what you mean by hot spots... unless you are talking about your dog.

Also known as Summer Sores or Moist Eczema, Hot Spots can seemingly appear spontaneously anywhere on a dog's body and the area involved can rapidly spread.

This moist, raw skin disorder has a variety of causes but the most consistent factor is bacteria.

There are a number of kinds of bacteria that can be cultured from a ';hot spot'; and fortunately most respond to oral and topical antibiotics.

Anything that irritates or breaks the skin can create the environment for bacterial contamination if the skin surface has just a bit of moisture on it.

That moisture can be present from a recently given bath, from swimming or being out in the rain, from rolling in wet grass or even from a slightly oozing sore that provides nutrients for bacteria.

    Bumps/spots on my arms?

i have these things all over my arms that are like little spots but they don't have anything in them, ive tried using scrubs and a rough sponge but nothing will take them away.Bumps/spots on my arms?
Apparently it's common to have little bumps on the upper arms

It might be something called keratosis pilaris so look that upBumps/spots on my arms?
there is really a wonderful product from clinic that will really help you to get red of bumps and spots and make your skin soft and radient it is name SPARKLE SKIN BODY EXFOLIATING CREAM
    maybe its from the sun

or maybe you got bit by something (fleas, mosquitoes ect)

i once had an allegric reaction from mosquitoes and had these big bumps on my arms like a big bubbley thing.

ya that was the worst time ever haha so nasty!
I have them too! they can be really annoying but are nothing to worry about. try using E45 cream. just rub it into your arms everynight. it doesn't get rid of them completly but it does help!

    xx
may be from the sun. depends on your age. it could be pubrity too

    Little spots?

tongue piercing yet again haha. im sucha little worrier!

but basically, im cleaning it with the mouthwash the piercing place gave me. and brushing teeth.. but while i was brushing my tongue today i noticed little like REALLY little spots on it.

is this normal? cus ur tongues got a few spots on it anyway hasnt it?Little spots?
hmmm mabye go to a doctor and see wats upLittle spots?
You could go to your piercer or doctor if your that worried.

But if not its probably just slightly irritated by the brushing. If not it might do what mine does and get litte spots if you've eaten something hot (as in temperature hot...not spicy hot) lol.

Sharing foundation isn't a very good idea cause there's loads of germs in it that spread, same with mascara and eyeliner.

Wash your face with warm water and give it a good clean to stop bacteria from making your skin worse and put some spot cream on (Clearasil is really good). It probably won't get rid of them completely by tomorrow but it'll make your skin look a lot better.

    Good luck!SPOTS LIKE NO OTHERS???
By tomorrow? No. Don't get your hopes up. They won't go away for weeks, until they run their course.

I recently took a trip to Israel, and I have just realized some faint brown marks along my leg.

Any idea what it could be?

and what I could do to remove them?Spots on skin?
I'm not sure..but it could be the what it's called pigments i heard it's kinda brown and it can appear everywhere it's usually from sun, like if you have perfume on like lets say shoulders then from sun it will appear kinda brownish pigments and i know that you can bleach them. try somethin on your leg. you can get a little towel and get some milk and put it on your leg massage it on these brown things you got and you can also try rise and sake cream it makes skin lighter. just get cream or some bleachin kit for skin and bleach that brown spots it won't bleach your skin terribly it will make these marks fade...hope it works.. x

    Spots that don't get tanned?!?!?

I have these spots on my right arm that don't get tanned and I have one on my right leg. Is this bad, or do many people have it? My mom noticed them and said I should keep an eye on them... What does that mean? Is it possible to get them tanned?Spots that don't get tanned?!?!?
It could either be that you have no pigment or less pigment in that area %26amp; it will just always be lighter than the rest or you can have a type of skin fungus (its not gross or serious dont worry) that makes these spots %26amp; it wil spread. The fungus is called Tinea Versicolor.

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tinea_versi鈥?/a>

The way you can tell the difference is if it is always the same exact spots then you are lacking pigment there. If it is new or spreads then it is the fungus. Here is a cream that gets rid of the fungal white spots. Its called spot out

    http://souveniles.com/detail.aspx?ID=100鈥?/a>Spots that don't get tanned?!?!?
    my friend has that!

but my mom said it could be sun poisoning, or it could just be something funky.

my friends isnt even noticable after 2 weeks.
no is happens to me too...mostly on the arms,.....
I can't remember the word for it, but it's not bad. It just looks a little funny. I wouldn't worry about it. If they get big or never go away, ask your doctor or dermatologist.
I have two little circles on my back that never tan. They look like little spots where angel wings would go! It's really neat! I wouldn't worry about it.

All depending on the spots there might be nothing that you can do not to sound so harsh. You might have a skin diorder called fordyce spots. It's your own natural skin just doing what it wants to do you know. I know it's apart of your physical being and might freak you out a bit, but look into first before you start trying to put on all this other cosmetic crap that could make it worse.

You didn't give a description of your spots. They may be freckles, I suspect. Use a sunblock with SPF 15 or higher that's suitable for the face to prevent more spots from forming while in the day.

How can i get rid of my spots? I have tried lots of different things and have now even started putting tooth paste on them since its an acid but it so does not work. My older sister does it too and it works for her but its impossible for me.

I am sick of getting spots

Please HELPSpots..... HELP............Once one goes another arrives!!!?
Woa, I was EXACTLY like you a year ago. The answer is simple: go to the doctors, and they will prescribe you something for your sports, depending on how bad they are. I was prescribed something called Dalacin T Topical Solution. It doesn't work immediately, but you defo. notice a difference in your skin within a few days. Obv. remember to wash twice a day, and use a light, skin friendly cleanser. Moistuirsing helps keep your skin in tip top condition too. It does take a good couple of weeks to shift them completely, but trust me, it's really worth it! Spots are all part of growing up, nothing to be ashamed of :]

Good Luck XSpots..... HELP............Once one goes another arrives!!!?
    Vitamin E

Try applying vitamin E to the scarred area three to four times daily to help reduce its visibility. If you keep at it, you should see some results after one to two weeks. It takes a long time before you get really noticeable effects.

    Tea tree oil

Some medications made from natural ingredients, such as rosehip seed oil and tea tree oil, will not only help to heal scars, but also significantly work to prevent future scarring.

    Leeks

Peel the membrane from white are of the leek while watching TV or resting. Place a peeling over scarred areas for ten minutes every day. You can secure it with a bandage to keep it from falling off. Keep this up for a few weeks and you'll see the color fade away

    Ginger

After cleaning your skin, cut a few slices of fresh ginger and apply to the affected area for 20 minutes. You'd better do this laying down, otherwise the ginger may fall off. It might burn a little, but probably not too much. The ginger may leave behind a bit of redness after you removeit, but don't be too worried. Just wipe off and have a good rest. In the morning, the scar should become smooth, and will hopefully fade completely within two weeks.

    The best treatment is prevention

Include green, leafy vegetables and fruits in your diet. Drink a lot of water to to regularly to flush out toxins, and don't forget to drink a glass before breakfast to flush out the stomach. Avoid deep-fried snacks.

Change your bedsheets and pillow covers often. Those areas are like magnets for dead cells, dander, mites and dust - all of which can cause an acne breakut. Some skin experts even recommend changing pillow cases daily

    Aloe Vera Plant

cut off a piece and squeeze the goopy gel inside and apply to skin.It lightens and fades scars while fighting and preventing acne.Apply before bed let dry[2-3 min tops]and sleep with it on soft glowing skin in the morning.

Lastly, don' expect scars to vanish overnight

    Hope I helped
