Have you ever gotten a zit on the same spot an old zit was?

lol..that just happened to me. The hole that i popped the last zit through was still there so at least that made the new one that much easier to pop. I simply squeezed it through the old hole/pore. I'm glad i didn't have to break through new skin... less painful and stuff. So has this ever happened to you? It's happened to me a couple of times before too.Have you ever gotten a zit on the same spot an old zit was?
Yes, I have several times.Have you ever gotten a zit on the same spot an old zit was?
its probably the rest of the gunk from the first zit- not an actual second zit- cause when you pop a zit the pressure causes some to come out but some is also forced by the pressure down deeper into your pore-ick.

fyi= the best acne product i have ever used and highly recommend is Murad products- amazing- try it out
Yeah, it has...It's a total bummer, too, when it does. I don't know if it's true, but I heard that a zit comes back if you haven't cleaned it off properly and treat it and stuff.
yea its caused by picking it

  • HELP ME I NEED TO GET RID OF SPOTS!!!?

i am 13 and i am popular with boys, but i have quite a few spots and they are ruining my life, making me really self consious. i hate them, i wear make up but i dont wear as much as i used to, i wear green concealer to get the redness away and normal concealer then a mineral powder, but i dont want to spend ages in the mirror trying to cover spots any more, i want clear skin!HELP ME I NEED TO GET RID OF SPOTS!!!?
NOTE鈥 HAVE WRITTEN THIS LONG ANSWER TO RESPOND TO QUESTIONS RELATING TO BECAUSE THEY COME UP SO OFTEN:

    OILY SKIN

    ACNE

    FACIAL LIGHTENING

    DEALING WITH ACNE SCARRING

    DEALING WITH STRETCH MARKS

    IMPROVING SKIN TONE

    PIMPLES

    BLACKHEADS

    EMERGENCY SPOT TREATMENT

    INGROWING HAIRS

    BODY ACNE

鈥HE INFO鈥橲 BASED ON MY OWN EXPERIENCE. I鈥橫 36 NOW SO I鈥橵E HAD TO DEAL WITH THESE ISSUES FOR QUITE A WHILE AND THOUGH MUCH OF THIS ANSWER MAY BE IRRELEVANT, I HOPE THERE'LL BE SOMETHING THAT CAN HELP YOU!

    GOOD LUCK!!!

RECOMMENDED SKIN CARE鈥 use clean and clear cream wash (good for sensitive skin or those that dry to easy) or Neutrogena clear skin make up remover wash. Both contain salicylic acid which prevents breakouts and gradually evens the skin tone out too. This is the most important thing you can do. I鈥檝e tried various 鈥榦il free鈥?鈥檚alicylic acid鈥?moisturisers but the best I鈥檝e found is the clean and clear on鈥 found the Neutrogena one actually seemed to aggravate my skin.

EMERGENCY SPOT TREATMENT!...The toothpaste things works! Put on a blob at night and put a bit of tissue over it so it doesn't make a mess. It cools the area down and reduces the inflammation. I also recommend the clean and clear advantage spot treatment gel.

HORMONAL SPOTS鈥ny female with spots I'd recommend trying dianette or yasmine contraceptive pills because if it's hormonal that can sort everything out within weeks鈥hough it can take a couple of months to get used to the pill.

FACIAL ACNE: AVOID鈥on't use harsh scrubs and peroxide products daily like some people do; that can dry your skin and make produce MORE oil...just exacerbating the problem. Many face packs I鈥檝e tried and those blackhead removal strips too seem to have caused problems.

I鈥檝e also had problems with those 鈥榝acial wipes鈥?made by clean and clear and Neutrogena because they鈥檙e too drying and when the top layer鈥檚 too dry, the oil gets stuck underneath and causes more problems!

Some say chocolate doesn鈥檛 affect it鈥t does for me and I don鈥檛 know how or why that should be but certain foods do seem to affect break out. Coffee is one of those things that seems to aggravate my skin too. So look out for anything you eat that might be making it worse.

HAIR PRODUCTS鈥e careful what products you use in your hair if it's long - certain conditioners have causes me to break out at times. Also be careful of hair gels, hair sprays and serums.

INGROWING HAIRS鈥or men or women鈥f you have oily skin, these are more likely. For men鈥se a facial scrub and avoid moisturisers that don鈥檛 have salicylic acid in them if you use a moisturiser. Some hair conditioners are much better lubricants than shaving cream too 鈥?so you might want to try that, and then was afterwards with a clean and clear was etc. Also I recommend the microdermabrasion kit mentioned later.

For women鈥axing seems to cause the main problem 鈥?we pay most attention to our faces. Waxing seems to be the main culprit as opposed to shaving or hair removal creams鈥o avoid in-growing hairs, make sure to exfoliate. I recommend using those exfoliating gloves 鈥?that way, you can use any kind of shower gel.

NUTRITION鈥 recommend taking a 100% multi vitamin/mineral complex 鈥?those little spots you get around your mouth can be due to a vitamin b deficiency for example. Also I recommend Omega 369 oils every day because they improve blood flow.

OLD WIVES TALE??...It's an 'old wives tale' type remedy - but a spoonful of cider vinegar and honey in hot water 3 times a day is meant to help EVERYTHING. It tastes nice too...kinda like honey and lemon X

HYDRATION鈥?Keep your hydration right by drinking plenty of water, avoiding caffeine and alcohol and too much salt!

DEALING WITH SCARRING鈥here鈥檚 an excellent micro-dermabrasion scrub called 鈥榬e-finish鈥? by L'oreal. You only use it a couple of times a week (and use at night because it makes your face red!). It really works not just with the colouring but also the texture - smoothes it back out. It comes with it's own moisturiser which I don't use but I use the scrub at night a couple of times a week and put bio oil on which it supposed to help clear scarring and even skin tone.

If you get your skin relatively under control, try using '21 days Fade Cream' (which I get from eBay) because it quickly clears up any scarring. It鈥檚 a skin lightening cream and is very effective as long as your skin type agrees with it. Bio oil is a good alternative!

Also, to detract from the colour variations in your skin tone, I recommend using Benefit鈥檚 Posie Tint or Benetint lipstain 鈥?this can be put on your cheeks and lips (which also makes your teeth look whiter as an added bonus). Lipstain is better than lipstick because it doesn鈥檛 smudge and it stays on; you can put lip balm or lip gloss on over it. Also, if you use it (SPARINGLY) on your cheeks, it is just like putting water on there; it doesn鈥檛 aggravate the skin or cause breakouts.

LIHELP ME I NEED TO GET RID OF SPOTS!!!?
If it's just acne, use mentholatum cream. (Vicks) or any toothpaste or cream that has menthol in it. It starts clearing up acne in about 5 minutes. If they are just ';spots'; try using a skin tone even-outer thingy.

if they are freckles, don't get rid of them! freckles are sooo adorable!

How to spot the difference between natural breast and augmented breast?

All breast augmentation leaves some scaring. The scars are reduced over time and very good surgeons with advanced techniques leave very little scaring, but it is there. Become familiar with the scar sites from different augmentation approaches.

    http://www.implantforum.com/scar.html

Be aware biopsies and surgery for breast cancer are another common reason for scaring on the breast. If you're not an expert be careful who you accuse of what, and when ;-)

Unusual size, shape, and placement may give some indication if the operation has not been done well. An unnatural looking cleavage is a good example, but this can also happen naturally. How to spot the difference between natural breast and augmented breast?
    manually or digitally

I recommend a hands-on approachHow to spot the difference between natural breast and augmented breast?
Scarring and an unusual ';disc'; shape underneath. Stiff and not ';bouncy'; like a normal breast.
I found that natural brests tends to flattens when the woman lays on her back and the augmented ones pretty much stay up straight and rounded.

You can kinda guess when she is walking or standing up too. If it is too round, it has to be fake.
natural breasts are perky where augmented breasts are saggy..
Augmented Brests will be clean curved and stiff and it appears artificial and can be distinguished from the natural ones.
augmented breasts glow if we put tourch on the boobs. since it is silicon, and also they will be stiff round in shape.

    Remove blackheads and brown spots?

I use a Japanese product by Naris Up called the Natural Pack P - Two-Step Eggshell and Charcoal Face Mask. It comes in two tubes. First is the pre-essence which is clear... and the 2nd step is a black and glooey. wait for it to dry and wahhlaa! peel it slowly because it hurts a bit and you will see that it has pulled out ur blackheads and whiteheads.

the trick is to use this right after you shower or after you have steamed your face (place ur face above a bowl of steamy hot water).. to open/soften pores. i suggest using it 2-3x a week.

i bought this at an asian pharmacy... so if you have an asian pharmacy or supermarket around your area.. check it out... its quite cheap as well, price ranging from $5-15. you don't need to use alot. it really lasts. i swear by this product. or online stores.. they even have in on amazon.com

for a while now i have had grey spots on the back of my shoulders. They look like they old dried up paint with lines (like cracks) runnin through them, and they are around the average size of what a mole would be. iv never had these before and i would really like to know what they are. I would say theres is about 30 or 40 of them. Im an 18 year old male by the way.

thanks for your help guys! Please help! light grey spots?
Have your doctor check them and send you to a dermatologist. I never had skin problems before, I now I have plaque psoriasis on my elbow. It is sore and silvery and is caused from an overproduction of skins cells. We normally shed many skin sells but an our immune system cam be compromised and we can end up with all kinds of skin problems. My doctor gave me Luxiq but it just dried it out more, burned and made it sorer. It sounds like psoriasis ans there is medication for it but I can't take it due to low blood calcium. To be certain, see a dermatologist. I know these things can be devastating and embarrassing. Good luck. I have also developed other types of unusual skin problems. Please help! light grey spots?
get to a dermatologist NOW! they could be skin cancer at worst, some sort of allergic reaction at best. The doctor will know, and might save your life! I'm serious about this, not trying to scare you.

Flawless complection ?!?! Help cover spots ?

    Please Help !!

I go back to school in like a few days, and i want my foundation to look good %26amp;%26amp; To make my face look flawless.

Is there a certain thing i have to do to achieve it ?

    Please help !!

    Thanks (:

Also - how do you apply foundation PROPERLY ?

And is liquid foundation the best ??

    :D

xFlawless complection ?!?! Help cover spots ?
Which foundation you use depends a lot on your skin type and coloring. I have very oily skin, so I use a workout foundation everyday. But that may be too heavy for your young and more balanced skin.

Talk to a cosmetic specialist at a department store counter. Not all of them are ';experts'; so if the salesperson seems frustrated easily, it's probably because they don't know what they're talking about or are scared to talk to strangers, but just needed a job - go to a different counter or a different store until you find one that's confident and speaks to you respectfully in a way that makes sense to you.

A cosmetic counter salesperson can help match your skin type and color in foundation. A flawless complexion when you're young is easier than when you're older. When you're young, you probably can use a sheer foundation, but when you get older, you'll probably need more coverage with an opaque foundation.

Whichever foundation you choose the general application is:

Moisturizer or Mattifier (depends on skin type)

    Liquid Foundation

    Powder (to set the foundation)

Bronzer (to give you that healthy glow that a matte/flat look wouldn't)

If you're using sheer foundation and you have naturally rosy cheeks, then skip the blush and just use bronzer to get the glow.

If you want flawless skin that speaks for itself, then just follow up the foundation application with a tiny amount of well smudged eyeliner (have you tried brown?), mascara, and lipstick to complete your look. Look after your eyebrows too - they make the biggest difference in how you look. And they're cheap to wax.

Flawless complection ?!?! Help cover spots ?
I am a professional makeup artist and I would recommend mineral makeup, it is so easy to apply, blends flawlessly with your natural skin, gives an airbrush finish and a healthy glow and are good for the skin! With that said, NOT ALL MINERALS ARE CREATED EQUAL!

Drugstore brands are terrible! They are loaded with cheap fillers, (they use bismuth oxychloride which is not an actual mineral but a metal that has been processed with tin and copper- it is a known skin irritant and can cause itching, rash, eczema and acne) They also coat their products with harmful chemicals that are bad for your health, they overall look of them is Flat, dull, cakey, powdery and their colors are ususally orangey or pinky. Bare minerals also uses Bismuth oxychloride and other cheap fillers so I avoid them too.

I personally use on myself and clientele Faerie Organic Minerals it looks like your own skin only better (flawless). They are light, airy, natural looking, cover really well (including spots) and leave a dewy glow. I know it is exactly what you are looking for. They have a FREE sample kit (you just pay shipping-like $5.99) I do not like liquid foundation as you really have to work with it and blend, blend, blend. Minerals are so easy to apply you just use the fluffy mineral brush and quickly buff it in a circular motion around your face, then use a concealer brush to tap the foundation on pimples and dark areas. You can check them out here..........http://www.faerieorganic.com
Liquid works nicely usually, but I find that mousse foundation works better and is way easier/less messy to apply. Also lasts longer in my opinion. Just make sure you spread it evenly and not too heavily and make sure you blend it around the outside of your face and the top of your neck so it's not obvious :)
well, in my way is oriflame foundation is best ..........but what ever itself you have to add a few drops of water in foundation, so that it looks so nice to your face

    Does caffeine give you spots?

coffee, acneDoes caffeine give you spots?
Yes, it can do, although that hasn't happened to me, as far as I know.

I drink a lot of tea (not coffee) and I know I am affected by the caffeine. I think I am addicted to it, because I feel as if I need cups of tea to keep me going at work.

When I gave up all caffeine for two weeks, I have quite bad withdrawal systems - which was quite alarming at the time!

It is best to avoid it if you can.

Actually, there is a good site with loads of info about caffeine, but I can't find any mention of it causing so spots, there, so perhaps I'm wrong about that.

    See:

    http://coffeetea.about.com/cs/caffeine/a鈥?/a>

Hope this helps:%26gt;)Does caffeine give you spots?
well its surposed to make you faster in what your doing and you sweat more so there could be evidence of a few spots
No being ugly gives you spots.
yes, but only when i drink alot
It can. It depends where you've spilled it.
Yes, it can, anything can in high quantities, drink lots of water.
    yes
No but tea and coffee are not that good for your skin. Drinking loads of water is brilliant for your skin.
nope it makes you stop growing
It is funny you should say that as I drank seven cups of tea yesterday, and now I have a spot on my chin.

    Down with Tetley.
    yes it sure does
Ive drank up t 10 cups of coffee a day for at least the last 10 years and ive never had spots. so no.

  • Shaving legs leaving red spots??

recently, everytime I shave my legs, I get lots of tiny litle red bumps on them (especially on my thights). I tried a new razor and I use shaving cream, but it doesn't help. WHAT CAN I DO??Shaving legs leaving red spots??
they are caused by too much pressure being put onto the razor as you shave or because you might use a razor that is too dull. try putting light pressure on the razor as u shave, and replacing a disposable razor blade after about 10 uses. never shave dry or with soap and always apply lotion after shaving. hope this helps! :)Shaving legs leaving red spots??
make sure you are using a good kind of soap (mayb a special soap for razor burn) and make sure you are rubbing lotion on your legs after every time to keep them moisturized...hope it helps!!!
    If this is RAZOR BURN

    sounds weird

but apply deodorant like the dove white kind after shaving

it will take away the irritation and redness.
I get those too. I dont seem to get them if I use shaving gel. Try that.
it's razor burn.. i used to get that a lott.. make sure you're lathering up your shaving cream really well, make sure you're not putting too much pressure on the razor, and make sure you use warm water b/c if you have goosebumps and you shave over them.....ouch. and use a good moisturizing lotion (like aveeno) after shaving. make sure you use plenty of water while shaving. i hope your legs get better!
this has happened to me recently

its called razor burn bi the way

and i found self tanners help alot
Sounds like what ever your using to moisturize your legs while shaving isn't doing the job. Some shaving creams just do not do the job that they were meant to do. Try a different shaving cream that has a lot of moisturizer or try looking into a razor with the moisture strips..those are great. If none of that helps..they now have a product that is running on commercials now that helps with the ';razor burn/bump'; effects.
i have the same prob so i had to ask my mom %26amp; she said its prob because the razor is too sharp but i stopped shaving for one day and then went back to shaving the next day and 3 days later they cleared up.
Try changing your blade. That happens to me in certain areas, but most of the time it goes away if I change the blade. If you've ever shared your razor it might be that.

I have really bad spots what shall i do???

im 14 and i have got loads of spots

what shall i do about them

this is my skin care routine:

    My skin care routine:

    Mon/tue/thus/sat

Morning- use dove soap than the spots cream

After school- use apricot scrub than the spots cream

    ONLY on Sundays/Wednesday

Morning- use dove soap than the spots cream

Sunday Afternoon about 5:00- have a bath and in the bath use the gentle exfoliating face scrub

Wednesday afternoon- have a bath and use the gentle exfoliating face scrub

I have really bad spots what shall i do???
OK here is your answered prayer

15 years old and ive had about a handle of spots to date and none of them have lasted long I get the most during my period but that about 2 at max!!

of course your skin just might be spot prone or genetically inherited but thats rare

    ok heres what you do

don't use soap for a start they contain chemicals that arent good for ur skin and weaken it

when you have a shower/bath/wash ur face soak your face in warm water this opens up your pores and then gently scrub your face to get all the dirt out

dry face thorourghly and cover it with vaseline this seals the pores so dirt doesnt go in and it softens and protects your skin

    do this every day

when you get spots dont cover them up with make up because they'll last longer just drink lots of water and eat lots of friut avoid chips chrisps spicy and fried food

during your period is the WORST so you have to make sure you clean your face thoroughly DONT USE SOAP

I use clearasil facial wash about once or twice a week and every other day during my period its pretty good

dont use it every day or your skin becomes reliant on it and gets skanky if you dont use it

the sensitive skin stuff is best i find

I have really bad spots what shall i do???
first dont use soap on your face

that can cause pimples and seriously dry out your skin

use a water base cleanser i love cetaphil its works well

and second i think your exfoliating way too much you only need to exfoliate once a week it might feel weird at first and your face might feel as though it needs exfoliating but it doesnt

over exfoliation can also cause pimples and you could be taking of layers of skin which dont need removing

st ives is a great exfoliator or even mix some cetaphil with bicarb soda and that works as an exfoliant too
    Go see the doctor 1st, since it's this bad. Actually, u're in pebpubertyriod, ur hormones are changing, hence, the spots. So this spots may be temporary, but with u using all those scrubs, soaps, u may be making it worse ! all these may lead to drying up ur natural oil n moisture and lead to oily skin in future.....(more natural oil being produce due to dryness of skin) As ur skin is still young, it dont need those chachemicalt. u just need to keep clean, wash during day n night using water and hanhandkerchiefat more fruits ! best drink 1 glass of fresh squeeze fruit juice every morning once u get up from bed. it'll help. :%26gt;
It sucks but scrubbing wont make the spots fade, use a face cream formulated to reducing marks. Also are these acne marks? If yes then use neutrogena acne mark fading peel, comes in a little blue tube for about $30 ...worked wonders for me!
If you're really really worried see your Doctor it might just be teenage spots put don't pick them because it could leave a scar and also you could try using Clearasil hope i have helped you xx thanks answer minee x
ok i have bad skin to dw its not the be all and end all lol the dermatologist recommend neutrogena cleansers as they do not dry and are gentle :) good luck

How to hide red spots !?

i need some really gud tips on how to hid red spote r get rid of the redness !!How to hide red spots !?
Steam your face - put the kettle on and put a towel over the bowl and your head. Then use a good deep cleanser and put some spot cream on. I recommend boots own tea tree and which hazel spot correction stick or clean and clear advanced treatment gel.

Once these spot gels are on and dry, you can put make up over them without damaging the spot, but try not to use too much anyway.

*Angel*How to hide red spots !?
Well to get rid of the redness, you could try putting some visene on it! Get some visese because it gets the redness out of your eyes, but it also gets the red out of blemishes. It works! I've tried it before.

To hide it, start with concealer, leave it on your finger for a couple of seconds, the warmth of your finger melts it, which makes it blend into your skin tone better. Put a little concealer on the red spot, don't forget to blend! Then, take some foundation powder(or bronszer, depending on where the red spot is. If it's on your forehead or your checks, just put bronzer on it instead of foundation) and blend it. The blemish should be A LOT less noticeable!

A could concealer is always a must, but concealers that double as treatment? Say yes please!

u need a primer thats green

green contrasts red an deminishes redness

If the spots are in the size of a quarter and has a smooth surface. Check out the images in the website below, if its similar then it must be Alopecia Areata.

My bro managed to find a website called http://www.ALOPECIA-AREATA-CURE.com when he had the same problem that explains about the condition and suggests treatment. He gave it a try and to all our surprise he recovered.

  • Laser Hair Removal....Spots? Help!!?

I am currently having laser hair removal sessions but am getting spots in the area. I knew this would probably be a side affect.

However, is there a way to get rid of them without causing harm to my treatment?

Would popping them be a bad idea?

I'm worried that if I apply toothpaste or Clearsill or something it may react badly with the laser. Is this a stupid thought?

Any suggestions on how to keep face spot free. What creams to use.Laser Hair Removal....Spots? Help!!?
Popping pimples is always a bad idea and treating them like you normally would isn't a good idea either. Most acne treatments make your skin easier to burn and I'm sure you'd rather have a few spots now than discoloration for the rest of your life.

Honestly, I've never heard of acne as a side effect of laser treatments, especially since the same process is used to treat acne. Nothing is impossible though. Are you sure they aren't ingrown hairs? I have heard of people getting some ingrown hairs during treatment.

Either way, the best thing you can do is adopt a regular cleansing regimen. Cleanse, tone, and moisturize. Since you are experiencing something on the area being treated, I'd suggest you exfoliate that area daily or every other day stating the day after a treatment and stopping 3 days before the next.Laser Hair Removal....Spots? Help!!?
I agree with Erin. Laser hair removal doesn't cause acne but you can get ingrown hairs not from the laser, but from shaving before your treatments. The medicines that help your breakouts wont interfere with the lasers as long as they're not on your skin at the time of treatment.

    How to cover spots!!?

shuld i put foundation on them?! also is it wise to squeeze them??!!How to cover spots!!?
never squeeze them but if you must..make sure they have a proper ready to squeeze head on them (clean tissue to squeeze with as well)

I have to say the old remedy about toothpaste really does the trick-if you dab tiny bit on befoer bed and leave it overnight it really dries out the spot and lessens the redness.

To cover dab a concealor on the spot and then powder too-this tends to keep the concealor at bay.

hope this helps! How to cover spots!!?
    DON'T SQUEEZE THEM!!!!!

It just makes them red and annoying. Plus it hurts. the only time when squeezing is okay is if there is the little bubbly thing on top. But be careful, and wash your hands before so that you don't get an infection.

Do not put foundation on them. It will just clog your pores and give you more zits. You should use a concealer that includes acne medication, like Maybelline Pure Concealer.

    Good luck. : )
Mix foundation and moisturiser together and use this all over your face as a base, next, a concealer to disguise the acne (if they are red, get a green tinted concealer) next a layer of translucent powder to make your make-up last. Also, you can apply acne treatments to your acne before you apply make-up.
    NOOOOOOOOO

squeezing = a lifetime of scars!

Dont put foundation straight onto them, it will go crusty. Cover with some liquid concealer and then when thats dry cover lightly with your usualy foundation! x
only squeeze if your prepared for scars small but forever

use clearisil and dont be afraid to show up with spots, all girls get them, JUST DONT TOUCH THEM UNLESS YOU HAVE TO!!!!

    Problem with dark spots?

how can i get rid of the dark spots caused by pimples...?

its irritating after they heal they turn to really ugly dark spots..i want to get rid of themProblem with dark spots?
    they're scars.

only way is go to ur pharmacy and ask for something to fade scars.

whatever they give you,the best thing i tried(and i tried many) is bio oil.

available in many countries and it works :)

defo available in the US(walmart, any pharmacy) and the UK(boots, superdrug, also any pharmacy)Problem with dark spots?
I have to agree that bio oil works wonders, but its sometimes not suited for all skin types. You can also try whitening creams to lighten those dark spots. Shiseido's White Lucent works well.

the tiny hard white spots are called millas, they are blocked pores,if you go yo a beauty saloon they will remove them.all you have to do is get a needle and take a bit of skin of and it will pop outLittle hard white spots?
My beautician told me the white spots are the result of a deficiency of some sort. She advised me to eat lots of fish or drink a teaspoon of fishoil. I started taking codliver oil capsules and the white spots started to clear away. Don't know if it'll help you but it's worth a try.
don't touch them it will just scar and make it worst, are fine if your really bothered by them go to a skin clinic who will tell you if they can get rid of them cant prevent but drinking loads of water helps just ask skin specialist on-line maybe Hope it helped if nothing else check with your GP might get lucky
These are cholestorol buildup. I used to get them quite often but not anymore.

Change your diet and have your cholestorol checked. Mine came from a blocked and non-working gall bladder that wouldn't let my liver cleanse the blood efficently. After removal the bumps went away.

If you're having weird chest/stomach pains, get a gallbladder ultrasound. It's not as scary as it sounds, but the bumps are a sign of g.b troubles.
They're simply called white spots. they're like blackheads but white (and not as dirty) You can have them squeezed at beauticians.
try getting a face scrub or a face mask, that should take care of it, but if it doesn't, cover it up with make-up until you can go to a skin clinic or a dermatologist
Bertie is correct. Milia are small white lumps of keratin that block glands.

DO NOT try to squeeze or remove them yourself, they can cause permanent scarring on your face. The only people who can remove them safely are beauty therapists.
I have the same thing, my doctor said that they were calcium deposits. You just need to leave them alone and they will eventually go away.

    Dry skin and spots?

greasy skin causes spots, but i have dry skin and still get spots. how can i get rid of them?!?Dry skin and spots?
Try using Cetaphil cleanser (or a generic version of it, usually right next to it on the shelf), available at most drug stores. It is very gentle on your skin, and treats both oily or acne prone skin as well as dry skin. Recommended by every dermatologist I have ever seen!Dry skin and spots?
Try this tips for Dry Skin:

Make a paste with equal parts of oats, almond and honey. Apply it on the face. Wash it after 20 minutes

Make a paste with a guava and a spoon of honey. Apply on the face and wash after 20 minutes.

Whisk one egg white till it thickness, then whisk in 1 teaspoon of honey and 1 teaspoon of sunflower oil. Apply on the face for 20 minutes and wash off with warm water
i would just mosturize and keep an eye on the spots they should go away

stay away from scented lotions if u hav dry skin !!!
Dry skin types have to be extremely careful to protect their skin.Yogurt-honey combination helps dry skin. Make an egg pack with a yolk, a teaspoon of honey, a tablespoon of milk powder. Oily Skin ! Dark Spots !?

How do i get rid of these both problems through

    Food habits and Fruits.

I'm Not interested in Creams or Artifical Things.

Any natural ways. . .Oily Skin ! Dark Spots !?
toner. (is is not a cream, but also not natural)

    sorry.

you might want to ask this question in the health section as apposed to beauty.Oily Skin ! Dark Spots !?
I got the same deal. There are a good products out there that work realy naturally but its always a prob picking that right one. ok naturally,....drink water well believe it or not it works. Make it a habit.

From fruit, pappaya works, only you have to literally rub it in you skin, let it dry then wash and it work wanders. Keeps the firmness%26amp; oil of the sikn.

Dont think you have to wash away the oli from your skin b/c it needs it. its all about keeping the balance.

Good news; oily sking dont get old. so we're lucky.

And use warm water to wash water, its relaxes your pores %26amp; breat, so that the oil wouldnt accumulate in the skin and form acne or dark spot.

    try it.
no don wash your face 10 times a day... that activates d oil glands even more n u'll b left wid oilier skin.... eat a healthy diet and get regular exercise, go out in d fresh air (sply d mornings), n u cn use a face pack made of fuller's earth (its called multani mitti in hindi) wid rose water 1-2 times a week. For d dark spots try lemon juice 2-3 times a day.... oh n yeah drink lots of water.... ideally 8 glasses a day....
wash regually, wash your hair at least twice a week. dont eat too many sweets, as they bring out spots, eat healhily.
here is a link for you to see that natural ways doo exist..
I always stress this Vitamin E %26amp; C inriched foods or take the supplemnts cure your body from within also Vitamin E based oil is exstreamley benificial for the skin it also plumps the skinand keeps it healthy looking.

also for a quick fox OXY treatment works over night.
use calamansi before you take a bath.simply dab it around the surface you want, let it stay for a minute, then rinse it simply by taking a bath.i do it for myself and it actually works.but you have to work for it,its not get that flawless skin quick regime.it takes sometime.^,^
yeah! wash yor face daily 10 times a day....
An oily skin , as the name implies, is one in which the sebaceous or oil-producing glands are over active. As surface grease tends to attract dirt, an oily skin acquires a dirty surface film , that needs to be removed daily. For more details log to http://useinfo-oilyskin.blogspot.com/

How do you prevent spots? (a non expensive way)

and if you do get them, how do treat them? (also a non expensive way)Treating and preventing spots!!!?
    Sunblock, sunblock and more sunblock.

If you are talking about acne try getting something with 2% salicylic acid and use 2x a day.Treating and preventing spots!!!?
make sure that you are using the correct products for your skin type
First of all at least you are young enough to get spots, I am old and still get the odd one. Seriously, you must keep your skin scrupulously clean, antiseptic soap, toner (witch hazel is dead cheap in your chemist or even cold water to close the pores) I know people say don't squeeze them, but I would when they reach a head and then apply tea tree which is cheap, altho you may have a greasy skin, and perhaps hair try to use a moisturiser for greasy skin. Simple does this in Boots. Its a hard lesson but its a bloody awful consequence of hormones and growing up. Good luck, I always got spots when something special was on, so I guess worrying and fretting makes it worse. Ask your pharmicist - they have given me lots of good cheap advice. Luv Camilla I know what its like xx
Go to your local department stores to have a sales at the cosmetic department give you some tips or watch tv shows that explain how conceler's work and how to prevent spots.
Cleanse, tone and moisturise every day. Exfoliate and use a face mask once a week (buy a tube of mask - it lasts aaages). If you do get one, then use some tea tree oil on a cotton bud to dry it out - try not to squeeze it. :)
i want to know that too. sleep more maybe, change your diet to less fatty things. DON'T SQUWEESE THEM
To prevent spots- unfortunately our female hormones is a factor which can cause spots to appear- the best solution is to just make sure you eat healthily, drink plenty of water and get plenty of sleep!

To treat spots- I always use freederm gel after numerous attempts to use other spot creams which are a waste of money. You can get freederm gel from your local pharmacist- it costs around a fiver and helps to treat spots- especially the redness and reduce the size of it. Also, if you feel a spot starting to appear, you use the gel- it makes the spot disappear which works for me!
Wel no one likes to pay loads to hide them so try to have a balanced diet. Try to eat lots of fruit and vegetables. Try to make sure you eat a range of food. Chocolate doesn't exactly cause spots but eating lots of it isn't a healthy lifestyle and could possibly result in spots. Try to keep your hair out of your face when you can (I think sometimes it can cause the skin to be greasy etc. and maybe cause spots). Wash regularly and try not to get stressed. Stress can easily cause spots. When everything seems to be going wrong just try to relax. If you do have spots then DO NOT PICK AT THEM!!! =] It will only make them worse. Once again try to relax. If they sort of get yellow heads and they aren't like little spots and they're like proper teenage spots then you could try putting toothpaste on them overnight so they dry up a bit. But they do need to breath so try not to clog them up too much. Hope the advice helps =]
always wipe your make up off and clean your face everyday when you get up and before you go to bed
In order to give you the proper advise we need to know your skin type and race. For instance are you african american, hispanic, or caucian, because every race has a different pigmentation level. Please send your response to info@newyorkdayspa.com.
There is no real answer for that, i have tried everything for getting rid of spots expensive and not expensive and have found nothing that works as of yet.
wash your face thoroughly every morning and night - you can get fairly cheap facial scrubs and cotton wool too
Evening Primrose Oil is GREAT for helping prevent acne. You can get them at Boots or the health store and take one everyday %26amp; believe me, you will start to see the difference in your skin. Also vitamin E is great! If you want your pimples gone within a few days try dabbing some Tea Tree Oil on them w/ a cotton bud and you can also use Oxy wipe out pads. All of these will help.

Forgot to mention: DRINK lots and lots and lots of water. It's great for flushing out toxins.
They best thing is use tons of sunscreen and moisturizer. Try the neutrogena even tone moisturizer with sunscreen.
toothpaste to reduce them.! 2 fingers to squueze them, paper bag on your head so that no one notices them!

    glad to help!:-)

    Need help wif SPOTS:P?

Heya i dont really have trouble wif spots but when i do it is like a big huge 1 lol:P Erm does any1 know what i can use? Dont wanna go out and buy loads of expensive stuff thankz xNeed help wif SPOTS:P?
    well firstly:

learn to spell and then buy some clean and clear spot stuff you put it on a tissue or something then you rub it all over your face (really hard) every night and it gets rid of and prevents spotsNeed help wif SPOTS:P?
Superdrug have a tea tree range which is inexpensive and works. Their 'spot-stick' in particular is excellent.

You know when one of these spots is arriving because they hurt! Dab the area with the 'spot-stick' every half hour or so and it will dry the area.

Surgical spirit works as well but doesn't smell to great and it is awkward to carry around all day.

But from what you are saying, I am not so sure that this is the common-or-garden ZIT! It might be a good idea to see the practice nurse at your GP's the next time that you get one.
    Drink plenty of water

Eat a good diet with lots of vitamin C (from fresh fruit and veg)

Wash your face with an exfoliating scrub such as clean and clear.

Clearisil ultra cleansing pads can sort out your skin if you use them twice a day.

It works for me, good luck.
The following will cost you around 拢10-拢12:

All teatree items are superdrug brand.

Teatree facial scrub- With walnut shell to get rid of dirt and oil. (Once a week)

    Teatree facial wash (Non-foaming)

Teatree Cleanser/Toner (Apply it with cotton wool/pads)

Any oil free moisturiser. I would recommend:

Boots brand clear skin oil free moisturiser. You won't find it on the website, so you will have to check in store.

When you don't need to use the scrub, use the face wash.

    Hope this helps.

You write like a lazy teenager, cannot be bothered to spell, if you are then you are getting Acne, which is the curse of most teenagers, go to the doc ,maybe get yourself somthing cheap and effective from the chemisit, also VERY !!!! Important ,use your own towel ALWAYS. Teenager or not.
you need to learn to spell...then re-post your question for some good answers.....better spelling insures better answers.
It's different for everyone - experiment until you find the brand that works for you. Make sure you have a daily routine you can stick to, even if it's just soap and water.

    Also drink lots of water!
forget spending a fortune on expensive stuff, try sudo cream. it really does work!!!
    use fade out cream
i use sudo crem when i have spots and it always works its a cream for babys nappy rash so its quite cheap and also savlon cream u could proberly get it from your local chemist for under 拢2 hope your spots clear up
pop it with a pin, squeeze it. wash your face. Put savlon on it. Leave it and watch it during the day. Added goo sometimes emerges. so just wipe it and put more savlon on it. The main reason spots happen is moisture, cause moisture picks up the germs easily, so make sure you dry your face well and in future, the areas that are prone to an alien encounter.

sterilise the pin with boiling water by the way.
    Hi

I have had problems with severe Acne all of my adult life and I am now nearly sixty and still get them :(.

The best method of control I have found is 50mg of Minocycline twice a day. This is prescribed by my doctor and has kept the spots at bay very successfully for about forty years.

My wife also had Acne when she was younger and she had a course of Roaccutane. This is supposed to permanently clear the problem in a majority of cases and in her case it did. The side effects can be quite unpleasant, however, and that is why I have not tried it.

Best advice: consult your doctor or a dermatologist. There are some really good treatments available now. I wish they had been when I was a teenager!

you could always try to used bleach on the pink spots, just put something in your shirt to make sure that the bleach doesnt get on the front of the shirt. but one thing i find useful that would be safer than bleach is vinager. the stuff can clean almost ANYTHING! i would try the vinager then go for the bleach, just rub the spot with vinager then wash it again.HELP!!!DISASTER!!!Short story-White shirt+ red underwear=hot pink spots on the back of white shirt!HELP!!!?
I would try bleach or oxy clean. You might do a mix but pls read the lables first. Or and this is even easier. Just dye all of your whites that have spots a different color. Red, pink or even purple or you could because a hippie and do tye dye.

Good Luck and don't worry this happens to most people (especially when you're 10 and your dad forces you to take over the laundry for the household.)
get them out...... prolly not but you can make the hole shirt pink and then it wont be weird.
    suggestion: try scrubbing with Bleach.
    bleach if its whight

    Bio-Oil on spots?

Well, my friend thinks that putting Bio-Oil on your face, while you have acne, will help to reduce the acne and will prevent it from scarring.

    Is this true?

I would've thought it would give you more spots as it's oily, but good for scars as i use it on my appendix scar.

I told her not to start using it until we find an answer.

    Hi,

I barely have any pimples, but my skin is kindof red where there used to be acne... its not too dark, but its still visible.

Can anyone tell me what to do... just wait it out (cause its only been a month or 2 since the pimples have disappeared) or put on a special creme or antibiotic?

Thanks in advance!Acne help-- after spots-- Please help!!!?
i heard some creams with semen in them do the trick....its like from asia or somethingAcne help-- after spots-- Please help!!!?
i have noticed that mine go away in maybe 2 weeks after the pimple has gone if i drink ALOT of water. like constantly drink it and dont let your pee become yellow. it works really well. my guess as to why is because the body doesnt have to work as hard to get rid of the toxins since your expelling them already with the water so other parts of your body heal faster. works for me. and water is good for skin anyway.

HELP! Red dry spots on my face!?

Ok first of all this isnt an STD! They are areas on my face where i popped acne and then the area got red which i know is normal but that red area keeps drying up and turns into what seems to be a scab....i moisturize them with cocoa butter, is that the right thing to do?? how long will they last? i dont want to peel them off too early and get scars...HELP! Red dry spots on my face!?
No cocoa butter, prob. clogging up your pores more!!!!

No more popping zits. No wonder you are getting scabs, you keep hurting your skin and it's trying to heal itself!

If cleaning your face properly and using over the counter acne cream does not work, you need a dermatologist.

Please keep in mind, if you are a teen, you are prob going to get zits no matter what. Popping them, especially using dirty hands, is not a solution!

    Ways to stop spots?

So are there any good methods or products (preferably those available in the UK) that I can try out to keep my face spot free. I'm not overly spotty and don't have acne, but I do suffer from the occasional spot, especially when I'm under stress.Ways to stop spots?
clearasil is good stuffWays to stop spots?
The best thing to do is determine your skin type. Then you can buy the right stuff for your skin. If your not too sure I suggest the SIMPLE range of products. SUPERDRUG IS BEST priced!

Cleans, Tone and Moisturise twice a day and exfoliate 2 - 3 times a week. If you have a skin breakout then regularly use an overnight protection cream this will help control them even more. In Superdrug look for 'Overnight Spot Protection Cream' (Medicated) Or Tea Tree products are good for all skin types. Also try AVON OR BODY SHOP.

AVON, BODY SHOP AND SIMPLE. My email is on profile if you need further help!

    Marks after acne spots?

Yea I have alot of those brown spots on my forehead from picking at acne when i first got it.

I just ordered Proactiv's Spot lightening lotion so hopefully that'll work for me.

It costs around $20 I think and I've gotten mixed feedback from my research with it.

Some people said they saw instant results when they used it twice a day, other people said it took a few months.

    Facial hair bald spots...what/?

ok i am 17 years old, and i have facial hair on my face except for two random bald spots, which does not seem to grow at all. is this normal? will it grow in, or will i be a half-bearded ogre the rest of my life?Facial hair bald spots...what/?
haha! its just normal.. it will grow.. dont worry, my bro has it too when he was your age... *tsk*Facial hair bald spots...what/?
lol you are not a half beard ogre...alot of guys cant grow a full beard. in fact in our group of friends that are 30'ish...only my hubby can grow a full one and actually he has one area where it isn't covered. it is just a smaller spot.

you are normal, and i don't think you can do anything about it.

    Oily Face+Black Spots on Nose?

Is it normal to have oily face and black spots when you are a teen. I 'm sick of them , and do you have any solutions?? Thanks.xxxOily Face+Black Spots on Nose?
it is normal1. Wash skin with plenty of warm water (2-3 times a day) and mild soap or herbal scrub to prevent clogging of pores.

    2. Avoid using harsh chemicals to remove oil, as some amount of natural oil is needed to maintain the texture of skin.

    3. Avoid too much washing of skin as it leads to overproduction of oil to compensate the loss.

    4. Always use hot water to wash face as it dissolves clogged oil and also balances Kapha.

    5. Use a moisturizer, free of oil.

    6. Avoid sticky make up, which clogs the pores.

    7. Apply half spoon of lemon juice mixed with half spoon of cucumber juice to face half an hour before taking bath.

    8. To clear away excess oil, use herbal pack, which contains herbs that normalize kapha and lessens excess oil secretion.

    9. Mix equal parts of lemon juice and water. Apply this mixture on face and rinse it first with warm water and then followed by cold water after it dries.

    10. Avoid heavy, fried fatty food.

    11. Avoid cheese and sugar rich deserts.

    12. Consume light, well-spiced food as they balance kapha.

    13. Avoid constipating foods.

    14. Include ginger, pepper, and long pepper in diet.

    15. Exercise regularly.

    16. Take plenty of leafy green vegetables and fresh fruits.

    17. Massaging whole body with herbal oil rejuvenates the body and skin.

    18. Use ayurvedic body cleansers, which expel body toxins.

    19. Avoid excessive consumption of soft drinks, alcohol, tea, coffee and chocolates.Oily Face+Black Spots on Nose?

It sounds like pimples, which happen when body oils and bacteria get blocked in your pores. To clear it up, get a washcloth, loofah sponge, shower glove, or some other type of scrubby tool and use a body scrub in the shower. Just don't scrub too roughly because you only want to remove the uppermost layer of dead skin cells along with the bacteria and oils/dirt. I would use it maybe twice per week and you should see an improvement within a week or two as the pimples heal.

im thinking of getting a facial today as i have 4 spots on my face 3 small ones 1 big one, i have a date on wenesday and want them gone by them will the facial help of make them worse? thanks everyoneGetting facials help spots?
You need to go to a beauticians for a consultation and see what type of skin you have and what facial they wud recomend. If you wana get rid of spots you need to get one that involves extractions to get rid of 'dirt' and buildup under skin. Sonetimes this can bring the 'dirt' closer to surface so u may get more spots in the days after. But your skin will look fresher and brighter. You need to go talk to a professional!!Getting facials help spots?

    HELP WITH TEENAGE SPOTS ?

Im finding really bad teenage sports on my face ive tries T.C.P moisturiser Clearasil nutregina wipes toothpaste and baby oil just makes my skin really greasy i don't want to pay lots of money for a leading brand product that don't work HELP WITH TEENAGE SPOTS ?
Oxy10 may work, and it isn't expensive, only thing that worked for me between the ages of 13 and 15. I would suggest trying it for a month, and then go to the doctors if it doen't work.HELP WITH TEENAGE SPOTS ?
You should have your parents take you to a Dermatologist, but it is probably horomone related at your age. Baby oil is not a good idea. Getting a facial with a salysilic peel would dry up the break-out and kill the bacteria to prevent future breakouts. Medical Spas such as Winter Park Laser %26amp; Anti-Aging Center in Orlando FL, specialize in acne treatments, for more information go to www.winterparklaser.com
i have the same problem i used Clinique anti blemish system which was a good product but wasn't that effective i now use clinique in the morning n clear n clear advantage quick clear daily treatment wash and clean and clear advantage quick clear advantage spot treatment gel( day and night)

its really good n my skin is slowly getting better
Try using Kyri and Kimi Natural products. Lemon and Rose day is really good for spot prone skin. This is a natural skin care and cosmetic company that uses essential oils to help with problem skin. It absorbs really well into the skin and will not feel greasy and oily on the skin.
i had the exact same problem and tried everything but had reactions to them all... this may sound silly but try warm soapy water every morning and night... i know it sounds like nothing but it worked for me...most of the treatments u buy just make your skin more oily...

if that doesn't help go to your doctor and ask for some acne cream

    good luck x x
im 19 nw n its amazing im so thankful i got rid of myn. it dont matter what u try u think their never gna go away. wen i gt to the age of 16 i was totally pissed of with them n just left them alone and guess what they actually went away i do gt a few here n their but nothing big. best thing is to go the doctors thats what i did and nw i can finally say im confident!!!
I swear by this product!! it is about a fiver from most chemists or boots? it is called witch hazel, you apply it to your spots, as this is an astringent it will dry out the spots quickly
You should go to the doctors, they prescribed me with oxytetrazine (antibiotics) and they have really helped clear mine up. I also take evening primrose oil capsules and its really good xxx
You just gotta get through it, theres no way of avoiding spots, its natural, it affects some other people more than others, its nothing to get all wound up about.
Do you eat a lot of fat?

    (Crisps are over 25% fat)

I would try cutting down on your fat intake, and eat plenty of fresh fruit and vegetables.
o to the doctors you can be prescribed something that will work and if you are under 18 it is free

    Purple scars after spots?

i suffered with a bit of acne so went to docs.. and i got cream and antibiotic tablets.. now all of the spots have gone but i have lots of purple scars where they were (i havent popped them..)

but the doctor said i cant use anything on my face (Moisturisors.. soaps..etc..) so can you suggest anything to get rid of them??

    ThanksPurple scars after spots?
those are not scars. they are hyper-pigmentation. they will fade on their own after a few months. it is best not to put anything on them.Purple scars after spots?
Ugh, i know how you feel i don't know whats worse acne itself or the scars.

Bio Oil, i swear by this stuff!

    If not Vitamin E oil

apply these every night before you go to bed and within a couple of months they will fade and within i'd say like 3-6 months they'll be gone. However, if they are 'pot hole scars'

    i.e: http://i33.tinypic.com/4hqc60.jpg

You might need to go to a dermatologist to recieve a monthly course of dermabrasion injections.

Eating foods with protein in them can help sort your skin out too!

    Good luck!

Bio oil....available in pharmacys or think its in any normal shops now!

    :]

my Doctor gave me stuff to get rid of that as well you should ask your doc when you see them

    Dark red acne spots???!?

i'v cleared up all my acne now i have about 10 dark red little dots on my face where the pimples used to be, how to i get rid of these without going to a dermatiologist. like some kind of cream i can put on them, or vitamins?Dark red acne spots???!?
try a dab of cortisone cream or neosporen. also..make sure to wash your face with cool water.... HOT water only worsens any breakout, pimple etc you have.

    not cold water...just cool...

also, maybe watch what you eat. i know chocolate contributes to pimples.. so stay away from it at least until those spots heal.

also, personally, when i eat eggs or wheat bread, i get blotchy skin... maybe you have a skin sensitivity like me.

try a light cover up until they go away.

    good luck!

all the best :)Dark red acne spots???!?
PUT SOME ALOE VERA ON THEM. JUST CUT OFF ONE OF THOSE LEAVES FROM THE MIDDLE AND PUT ON THE STICKY STUFF ON YOUR FACE THAT SHOULD DO THE TRICK
Time will fade the spots but to speed things up use a good face exfoliant once a day.

Maybe you should do that thing you are talking about in the parlor or you could put lemon juice on a cotton ball, apply the cotton ball to the scars for 10 seconds and wash that off. Tell me what you decide to do kay?
I pinched too, and got the scars to prove it! I exfoliate everyday, and use a microderm abrasion system this seems to help remove the scars. It fades them so that over time they are less evident. You will need to get started on a good system, and be faithful to it, if you wish to get rid of the marks on your face. Also, you should make sure that you are drinking lots of water. Many people don't realize that this one thing can actually help the body rid it self of impurities and rejuvenate the skin. Good Luck!

This is something that ive been trying to find for agess..ive tryed many different treatments and nothings had a real affect so far..but its not just getting rid of the ones you have, you also need to have a good skin routine so that you prevent new ones from forming aswell..I have been to my doctor's about it, but after 2 different treatments not much change, im making an appointment tomorrow where im going to ask about a Proactive, ive heard this is really effective in most cases, but it would cost more then 拢20 tho..Whats this about lemon juice? Ive never heard of that one..let me know =]

Have you tried Clean&Clear advantage acne spot treatment? Does it really work?

I have been using clean%26amp;clear's persa-gel 10 maximum strength for almost a year now and not seen much improvement.

do you think i should give the advantage acne spot treatment a try, or do you recommend something else.Have you tried Clean%26amp;Clear advantage acne spot treatment? Does it really work?
I would recommend the entire Clean and Clear Advantage kit. It's 20 dollars, you can buy it at Walgreen. It comes with cleanser, lotion and spot treatment.

I have tried lots of stuff: biore, neutrogena, proactiv, murad, got2b, cetaphil, etc.

But the C%26amp;C Advantage kit is the only thing works, you have to remember to use it every day though, the spot treatment does help, especially if you can catch it early. It either helps keep it at a minimum and kills it faster or stop it dead in it tracks......I started using it about a month and half before I got married (my skin was HORRIBLE) and I had a clear face on the big day. I usually get one or two zits a month.....that's about it, and I have oily acne prone skin.

Try it! Good Luck!Have you tried Clean%26amp;Clear advantage acne spot treatment? Does it really work?
It really depends on your face. Clean%26amp;Clear works great for my cousin but not so much for me. I personally reccomend Acne Free. It works great for me. Its good to expirement with different creams and washes. But before you start putting creams on your face, make sure you wash it with warm water and the wash so you clean out your pores.
well it work for a while but then my skin got used to it ,so it stopped working. maybe trying pro-active?
ok i hate when people say that...it has been provin that a product will not just stop working after using it for a period of time i asked the dermotoligist himself and thats what he told me...i also researched it from various lab results online anywho if you dont belive me i probbably could locate the websites with the documents if i where you i would try the website listed below

    SOS....white spots!!!?

Hi, is that any products in the market for darkening skin? I have certain white spots on my face %26amp; since my complexion is olive I'd love to blend these white spots. Test results shows that the spots are nothing of concern. I've tried makeups too but kind of frustuated now. :( Any help will be appreciated!!SOS....white spots!!!?
Maybe you should treat the cause.. white spots of your face is the reflect of a deficiency of vitamins..

how is your diet?... is very hard for a person to have its diet complete with all the vitamins, minerals, fiber, etc the body needs, i recommend you to start taking vitamins, and those white spots will go away in a few weeks.SOS....white spots!!!?
    one word: dermatologist.

i used to have spots darker than my skin, and my dermatologist gave me some bleaching cream. you might need a perscripiton. otherwise, use a darker color than your overall skin color, and blend it darker in the areas where you have your white spots. and if you're pet friendly, you should use mac because they don't test makeup on animals.

    Masks... then spots?

i used a french brand facial mask which directed that it could be left overnight as you sleep. the week after (i think) i got spots. i'm so pissed about it because i don't usually get them. argh, what can i do to get rid of them? the spots are kind of itchy too. what gives?Masks... then spots?
use 10% benzoyle peroxide because my skin isn't sensitive. But if yours is than use the 5%. Next I use a drug called clidymicn. It is my best friend in the world. I put it on in the morning, and the next day my skin is like wow. really nice and clean. now the next drug i used is called retin A. NO ONE SHOULD USE THIS IF THEY have sensitive skin and dry skin. This will probably be your best bet because it will make the skin renew itself, by peeling. The blackheads will then surface and can be extracted by appling pressure. Keep in mind that these are prescription drugs and must be prescribe to you, and you only. Talk to your doctor if you have any questions.

    ';Sun spots (age spots), also known as lentigines, are harmless, flat, brown discolorations of the skin which usually occur on the back of the hands, neck and face of people older than 40 years of age. These spots more than anything else, give away a person's age. Sun spots are caused by the skin being exposed to the sun over many years and are a sign of sun damage. If you do not believe that these brown, ugly marks on the back of your hands and face are caused by sunlight, look at the skin on your inner thigh. You will see that the skin of the inner thigh is completely devoid of age spots. Sun spots are harmless and do not need to be treated unless they are changing or getting bigger than the surrounding sun spots.';

Please note, it says 'usually' occur on folks over 40, but if you spend a lot of time in the sun, it can happen any time in your life

2 acne spots on my back ?!?!?

ok so here's my question. i'm a 13 year old girl and i have 2 acne spots on my back. i was wondering if there was a way to get rid of them in little time as possible. thanks guys ..2 acne spots on my back ?!?!?
Maybe try using an exfoliating face wash, like apricot scrub or something, my boyfriend has the same problem... that's because he doesn't shower every day, some peoples backs are like their face, you have to wash it every day. If I don't take a shower every day I have the same problem, it should go away as soon as you start showering more.2 acne spots on my back ?!?!?
just drink some fresh fruit juices for 2 or 3 days this might help u reduce....
um try makeup or medicated prescribed cream/ointment for it....but really that's nothing to worry about..just get over it,seriously

Mild ';age spots';, sun damage, etc.?

My skin is in good shape, but I do have a bit of discoloration and freckling. I was going to take the plunge and to IPL ( Intense Pulse Light), which apparently is effective, but it's is a bit costly. I changed my mind and thought I would try something else first. Does anyone have experience with so-called anti-aging products? I just started using a Neutrogena facial peel, which makes my skin feel nice. Still, I want to get rid of age spots!

Thanks.Mild ';age spots';, sun damage, etc.?
I had a lot of luck with Kinerase. It's not cheap, but it works. I used the lotion instead of the cream since I have a tendency to breakout with heavy creams.

This is the cheapest place I could find to buy it online:

  • How do I get rid of dark spot/scar left behind by a pimple?

I had the same exact problem with trying to fade my dark spot after I had a pimple or scar. What I found to actually really work was lemon juice! I went to the store and bought a lemon, cut it in half and kept it in a bag in my refrigerator. After you wash your face, get some of the juice and dab it on the spot. Do this consistently, whenever you wash your face-- I saw my spot disappearing within a week! How do I get rid of dark spot/scar left behind by a pimple?
well you can use cover up for an everyday solution but if you want to get rid of it for good you can go to a dermatolagist and they can fix itHow do I get rid of dark spot/scar left behind by a pimple?
    Usually Merdama works pretty well.

You can find them everywhere like Target, Wal-Mart or Walgreens, but unfortunatley, it's pretty expensive.(Around $20-$40 for a tube!!)

Since it's a small scar, and the tube is pretty big, it lasts awhile.
Use cucumber or other fruit and vegetable packs to cure pimple scars. More such solutions at http://solutionsforpimples.blogspot.com/
Typically these spots will fade over time... but you can speed up the process by using cocoa butter lotion everyday after showering or washing your face. Also, even try a face wash that contains Alpha-Hydroxy Acid, preferably a gentle scrub since this will be more effective than a lathering wash. Neutrogena has some great products containing AHA's...use the scrub in the shower and rinse for a minute or two because you do not want to get this in your eyes. As far as the scar, it depends on if it's a pit or just a surface scar. Minor scarring caused by pimples will go away with time... If you are that worried about it or you don't notice a visible change within a month, try visiting a dermatologist and have them evaluate your scar and from there they will be able to tell you if the damage is reversible!

Lots of Spots! Quick Fix Please!!?

I'm going to a party in about 5 hours and have a face full of spots. Blackheads over my nose, white heads over my forehead - chin and cheeks, pimples everywhere.

Go out and buy Simple skin care!

A bottle of toner, cleanser and moisturiser. You should cleanse, tone and moisturise every day.

DON'T put make-up over them because they close your pores, trapping dirt causing MORE spots.

Blackhead... they have to be squeezed i'm afraid!

    Good luck!
Normally you shouldn't, but a quick QUICK fix is to squeeze the ';ripe'; ones to make your face smooth and without bumps, wait a few minutes, put makeup over to conceal the little dots of redness, and the ones that can't be squeezed, and NEVER SQUEEZE AGAIN . after the party, use a cleansing face regime or skin antibiotics from now on, works for me, now i don't get any! oh and a blackhead remover after a hot shower is good too. tc.

    Too Many Spots. HELLPP !!!?

i am 15, and i've got my prom in a few months, at the moment my skin is really spotty and bad, it's not usually, but the past few months have been really bad.

i've tried spot treatment products but it makes them worse.

does anyone know any techniques or ways to get rid of them before my prom?

10 points for the best answer.Too Many Spots. HELLPP !!!?
if you put toothpaste on over night it drys them out which makes them go faster or honey which is an antiseptic just keeping doing it till the prom just make sure you wash your face every morning and nightToo Many Spots. HELLPP !!!?
Stop using spot treatment products, they do no good for your skin whatsoever, no matter what they claim. The way they work is by drying out your spots, but when used on the whole face it drys your face out. Your skin them produces more sebum and oils to compensate, so you end with irritated oily skin.

Instead try steaming you face daily/every other day (depends on how sensative your skin is) the steam will open up your pores allowing the the dirt and oil to be washed out effectivley, to do this all you need is a mug of salty water and a flannel. Just wash your face like noraml and wash it off. The salt is an anti-septic so will kill any spot-causing bacteria in your pores. Then just splash your face with cold water to colose your pores, and moisturise.

If you want to, before bed you can apply some tea-tree oil on a cotton bud to individual spots and wash off in the morning.

I promise you this will work, I used to get bad spots when I was 14-15 (I'm 16 now) and this really cleared them up, it's a little more effort than usual but after they've cleared up all you only need to do it once a month to stop them re-appearing.

    Take care :]
Murad Acne Spot treatment for blemishes or for all over the Murad Acne Complex. If you have sensitive skin this will irritate and dry it out but they sell one for sensitive skin as well. I suffer from those nasty ingrown blemishes and they would hurt really bad as well as lasting forever! I use the Murad Acne spot treatment day and night and during the day if its really bad and by the next day i kid you not you see results. This is not just from personal experience. Everyone i have recommended it to so far has had the same results! The spot treatment is like $17 at sephora and the kit is like $30!
well one of the best ways is to leave it alone, and to assist wash your face EVERY morning and before you go to bed at night steam your face and wash.

you can also put rubbing alcohol or hydrogen peroxide on it .

if you can get all the pus out of them by popping them that is a good way to do it just don't put to much pressure or it can make it look bad....
hmm...well he same happend to me but i recently got neuttrogena facial scrub and it helps clear spots and u wud not beleive how well it has worked. i was actually surprised cz dey never work on me....but stop eating oliy food if u eat em...and drink loads and i mean LOADS of water even though it has the dwnside of makin u go to the loo mre often..hmmm...dats all i can think off ryt now..and bydaway toothpaste dnt work and its not good puttin it on ure skin..dnt do it....anyways hpe this helped..:)

A lot of people swear by proactive. I think if I were you I'd just go to the dermatologist. That way you'll know for sure that it will be taken care of instead of just experimenting.

As far as the spot are concerned, if the cream had peeling properties then it would be helpful, but if you want a complete cure, then after your pimples have cured you can go for glycolic peels and microdermabrasion. These techniques remove the uppermost dead skin layer of the skin and thus revaeling smoother and clearer skin. Glycolic peels also cleanse the pores and thus reducing the acne. Hope this infor mation helps.
But breakthroughs in modern medicine have brought many new scar treatments.

Dermabrasion is a scar treatment where the scars are removed by using an abrading tool. This leads to fresh tissue being exposed, which on healing forms a new skin on the wound.

Microdermabrasion is similar to dermabrasion but instead of using an abrading tool, a suction tool in combination with a rough tool or crystal blasting tool is used.

  • Help please - spots?

sometimes when I pick at my spots after a few days a mark will appear does anyone know how to get rid of those marks also I have loads and I mean loads of spots on my back and I was wondering what I could do to get rid of them.

    Thank YouHelp please - spots?
You cant get rid of those marks on your face if you choose to pick spots. Just by a good concealer to cover them up. Also with spots on your back - you can either buy a cream to get rid of them (look on the internet there will be loads) or just make sure you wash your back really thoroughly. Spots often occur on the back because it is the hardest part of the body to reach. Maybe invest in one of those back cleaners and make sure you use lots of soap on it. This should prevent spots.Help please - spots?
If you keep doing this, you will be scarred for life. DO NOT TOUCH THEM. I used to get impatient as a teenager and would burst them to put make up on. I am now 34 and still have marks on my skin where I did this and will have them forever. Clean your face night and day and use a spot treatment such as Clean and Clear gel day and night. Don't touch them and wash your hands before you touch your face. Try to drink plenty of water to help spots hear up quickly.
    acne.org - all there is :)
Dianette contraception will clear it or ask ur doctor for Zineryt. i used Zineryt in my early teens and it worked a treat :o)
Try to eat a healthy and varied diet with lots of water,

But please whatever you decide to do don't pick at them.

    Thank you :)
