I have spots one my face?

when my pimples dried out i was left with spots how can i get rid of them i tried lemon juice,steaming my face drinking water,and vitamin e tablets any ideas??I have spots one my face?
toothpaste can severely irritate the skin, make sure you aren't picking your pimples, that can leave scars, try exfoliating, and creams that are said to help ';repair'; skin... I wish I knew a cream to suggest
