Treating and preventing spots!!!?

How do you prevent spots? (a non expensive way)

and if you do get them, how do treat them? (also a non expensive way)Treating and preventing spots!!!?
Sunblock, sunblock and more sunblock.

If you are talking about acne try getting something with 2% salicylic acid and use 2x a day.Treating and preventing spots!!!?
make sure that you are using the correct products for your skin type
First of all at least you are young enough to get spots, I am old and still get the odd one. Seriously, you must keep your skin scrupulously clean, antiseptic soap, toner (witch hazel is dead cheap in your chemist or even cold water to close the pores) I know people say don't squeeze them, but I would when they reach a head and then apply tea tree which is cheap, altho you may have a greasy skin, and perhaps hair try to use a moisturiser for greasy skin. Simple does this in Boots. Its a hard lesson but its a bloody awful consequence of hormones and growing up. Good luck, I always got spots when something special was on, so I guess worrying and fretting makes it worse. Ask your pharmicist - they have given me lots of good cheap advice. Luv Camilla I know what its like xx
Go to your local department stores to have a sales at the cosmetic department give you some tips or watch tv shows that explain how conceler's work and how to prevent spots.
Cleanse, tone and moisturise every day. Exfoliate and use a face mask once a week (buy a tube of mask - it lasts aaages). If you do get one, then use some tea tree oil on a cotton bud to dry it out - try not to squeeze it. :)
i want to know that too. sleep more maybe, change your diet to less fatty things. DON'T SQUWEESE THEM
To prevent spots- unfortunately our female hormones is a factor which can cause spots to appear- the best solution is to just make sure you eat healthily, drink plenty of water and get plenty of sleep!

To treat spots- I always use freederm gel after numerous attempts to use other spot creams which are a waste of money. You can get freederm gel from your local pharmacist- it costs around a fiver and helps to treat spots- especially the redness and reduce the size of it. Also, if you feel a spot starting to appear, you use the gel- it makes the spot disappear which works for me!
Wel no one likes to pay loads to hide them so try to have a balanced diet. Try to eat lots of fruit and vegetables. Try to make sure you eat a range of food. Chocolate doesn't exactly cause spots but eating lots of it isn't a healthy lifestyle and could possibly result in spots. Try to keep your hair out of your face when you can (I think sometimes it can cause the skin to be greasy etc. and maybe cause spots). Wash regularly and try not to get stressed. Stress can easily cause spots. When everything seems to be going wrong just try to relax. If you do have spots then DO NOT PICK AT THEM!!! =] It will only make them worse. Once again try to relax. If they sort of get yellow heads and they aren't like little spots and they're like proper teenage spots then you could try putting toothpaste on them overnight so they dry up a bit. But they do need to breath so try not to clog them up too much. Hope the advice helps =]
always wipe your make up off and clean your face everyday when you get up and before you go to bed
In order to give you the proper advise we need to know your skin type and race. For instance are you african american, hispanic, or caucian, because every race has a different pigmentation level. Please send your response to info@newyorkdayspa.com.
There is no real answer for that, i have tried everything for getting rid of spots expensive and not expensive and have found nothing that works as of yet.
wash your face thoroughly every morning and night - you can get fairly cheap facial scrubs and cotton wool too
Evening Primrose Oil is GREAT for helping prevent acne. You can get them at Boots or the health store and take one everyday %26amp; believe me, you will start to see the difference in your skin. Also vitamin E is great! If you want your pimples gone within a few days try dabbing some Tea Tree Oil on them w/ a cotton bud and you can also use Oxy wipe out pads. All of these will help.

Forgot to mention: DRINK lots and lots and lots of water. It's great for flushing out toxins.
They best thing is use tons of sunscreen and moisturizer. Try the neutrogena even tone moisturizer with sunscreen.
toothpaste to reduce them.! 2 fingers to squueze them, paper bag on your head so that no one notices them!

glad to help!:-)
