White spots?!?!?

I have these white spots on my face everytime i get in the sun. I want to be one of those girls that has pretty skin and dont have to wear make up but i cant if i have these white spots on my face. WHAT SHOULD I DO??White spots?!?!?
Sometimes people get white spots on places because of the melanin in their body not spreading around well enough. Are you drinking plenty of water? Try to make sure you are, and rub your skin with Aveeno lotion daily. In a few days after laying out in the sun more that should really help but if it doesn't i would contact a dertmatologist since it might become something a little more serious. But dont worry this isnt something rare. Oh yeah and make sure you're taking plenty of Vitamin C because it helps your body react much better to sun exposure.White spots?!?!?

I used to have the same problem. So did my Dad. The white spots are actually already there, but do not tan and become more noticable after sunning. This is a very common condition that (don't get grossed out) grows on the skin like a dandruff or yeast.

It's very common and if you have a certain skin type that is susceptible to this, you can in fact catch it from another by skin contact. Heres the good news - you can clear it up easily!

Go to the drug store and buy dandruff shampoo (Selsun or Head and Shoulders etc...) buy the one with the highest amount of ';Selenium Sulfide'; (usually 2.5%) (You can also have your dermatologist prescribe and even higher amount)

Apply it to your skin and leave it on for about 30 minutes then shower off. Do this for a few days or until it disappears - you'll know it's cleared when you are exposed to sun again and your tan finally becomes even! Don't leave it on too long like I did, or you can seriously dry your skin out!!!

ps: Some of the shampoos smell better than others...Also, you can re-apply the shampoo to your skin occasionally to keep it from coming back...

Good luck! and Happy tanning...but don't tan too too much - you know all the dangers of prolonged suntanning....I just had to add that disclaimer!

Do you wear sunscreen? if not, start now. You should never tan your face, that's why bronzer's were invented. Always wear a hat when your at the beach. I know you probably think it's corny to do but God only gave us one body and it has to last us our lifetime so we should take of it really well. And besides, you don't want to look like 40 when your 30 yrs old. The white spots will probably fade with your tan but I suggest you see a dermatologist. Good luck.
