Freckles? Moles? Beauty spots?

Another 'dark skin' question from me: how come people have moles or freckles, and what determines where they are? For example, I have no freckles, but I've got moles (beauty spots, or whatever they are) spread out across my chest and arms, but not my face or legs. What's with that? Is there any way of getting rid of them? Are they a sign of disease? And is it true if you try and itch them you can get cancer? (or something along the lines of that)Freckles? Moles? Beauty spots?
moles are a result of the sun exposure you had as a child.

there is no real way to get rid of them unless your dermatoligist removes the ones that are bothering you. however some expensive cosmetic companies have come out with brightening creams that are supposed to remove the color from there over time, i do not reccommend doing this though, it makes the area even more sensitive to the sun.

they are not a sign of a disease most of the time. but you need to watch them and make sure they dont change in size or color because they could be cancerous. make sure you make regular appointments with dermatologists. i have a lot of moles, so i see the dermatologist once a year to make sure everything looks regular- i call her if i notice changes, etc.

it is not true that you can get cancer by itching them. But if you do itch them and they bleed- take note of it and report it to the doctor to make sure that nothing is wrong.Freckles? Moles? Beauty spots?
I have the same problem with you, its like beauty spot moles right? (Not exactly a MOLE but you get me) Im sure its harmless but my mum says its from the sun.Im sure its not cancer.
