White Spots/ Tinea Versicolor HELP!?

I have white spots on my neck that i got over the summer last year.

I have been using T-Gel by Neutrogena for the past 2 weeks, and it doesn't seem to help.

Any ideas on how to remove them? They look so horrible.White Spots/ Tinea Versicolor HELP!?
i get the same thing, my doctor prescribed $125 pills tht did not work. what has worked for me is selsun blue (i used the medicated kind), using it as a body wash helps but slathering it on before you go to bed is best, if you can stand the smell.

also, hydrocortisone ceam seemed to to work. i recommend a kind with aloe as is will absorb faster and be less greasy. either method is only temporary and even if the spots go away they can come back.

my spots get red if i get hot and sweat alot. and dry skin seems to irritate it even more.

try these before spending money at a dermotologist.White Spots/ Tinea Versicolor HELP!?
I was diagnosed with tinea versicolor about 5 years ago, however its completely gone now! i had to goto the dermatologist and get prescribed medicine and that was the only thing that would work since its a fungus.. also be careful not to get much sun this summer unless you have it treated first because those spots could get worse and spread. i ended up looking like a leopard until treatment. hope this helps!
See a doctor
You need to use Selsun Blue extra strength or go to a tanning salon and ask for a lotion called HALT or whatever brand they have.. You will have the white spot there for a while until you start tanning again then it will blend in with the rest of your skin... It does work... Use the lotion/ shampoo everyday right through winter and the when summer hits it will settle down... Would hurt to was your hair with the selsun blue.. This skin problem actually comes from the scalp.....
