Can you re-pierce something in the exact same spot?

I used to have my lips pierced with snakebites, but had to take them out last july. I want them back now and was wondering if it can be done through the exact same spot the used to be, or if that kind of thing isn't done.Can you re-pierce something in the exact same spot?

but it hurts like ten times worse

yea one of my friend repirced but it was with their ears...but idk it may be diff for lips...idk but i think you can
I'm pretty sure you can, but it might be difficult if the place where you are piercing has scar tissue.
I got my ears pierced and they closed up, but after a while I wanted them redone so I got them repierced. no big deal. I'm pretty sure you can do the same.

Yes you can, but this time around its most likely going to be harder and maybe more painful because of scar tissue.
