Does concearler help spots?

my mam says dont put concealer on my spots or it will make them worse but some of my friends say it dries them up so it helps them... who is right ? :SDoes concearler help spots?
concealer only covers up blemishes and small pink pigmentation on the skin before you apply foundation or mineral powder or woteva u use after , best bet is to try not use alot of make up on ur skin cleanse n tone n moisuturise regulary if u can use a few hints b4 bed make sure all of the make up is off cleanse tone n moisturise and apply a e45 lotion or savlon i use savlon and my friend used e45 i havent had a spot in about 4 years n eitha has sheDoes concearler help spots?
From my own personal experience I don't think it actually makes a damned bit of difference - other than that it makes you feel better when you cover them up.





Just make sure you use tea-tree oil or some such cleanser on your skin when you take your make up off. Or maybe you can get a concealer with tea tree oil in it?





Also - I wear foundation so I find that's enough to cover up any blemishes. Sometimes you can put too much concealer etc on and get a caked look which isn't good.
hey if you have bad spots ask your mum or someone to take you to the doctors. i went and they gave me some stuff they soon went. * don't put make-up on them when you have time leave your make-up off and wash your face as much as you can then you wont need concearler :) concearler will dire your spots out but it will look like scabs if you have dire skin. Mum's know best :)
Your mom is right. Anytime you put concealer on a spot it clogs it and makes it so it can't breathe. So it will take longer for it to go away and it could also make it worse. Depending on the concealer that is.. some of them are a little bit better at lessening irritation and such. But in any case covering up a blemish with makeup is definitely not going to help them dry up and go away.
I suppose it depends on the concealer, but I've used Neutrogena skin-clearing concealers for a long time and they work great! They are formulated to help get rid of acne and they're oil-free. Good luck!
Concealers helps covering spot, but if you use like a neutrogena concealer since it helps skin, that can help.
It will cover them up but i don't think they will help them to be honest!

Concealer only covers spots, doesn't help them. Use Clearasil or tea tree spot stick, works a treat :)x
no, it wont help them...BUT 17 do a medicated conceiler which would be better than just a normal one.
It conceals them but doesn't clear them.
