you cant die and no you cant get paralyzed. if you got it done slightly off then you're fine. and there isnt any major veins or arteries near there. just take the jewelry out and have it re-pierced in the right place.
I'm not sure about DIE but you should definatly go see a doctor ASAP or it could get severly infected.
